Mario Barrios v Ryan Garcia
Ryan Garcia had plenty to say about his ex-coach Joe Goossen's move to train Mario Barrios for their world title fight.
Garcia will attempt to become world champion for the first time in his career when he takes on WBC welterweight title holder Barrios on February 21.
But in his rival's corner will be a familiar face in renowned trainer Goossen, who he worked with for three fights until 2023.
The pair split after his stoppage defeat to Gervonta Davis, and after a stint working with Derrick James, he will now be cornered by his father Henry.
Goossen and Garcia met on stage for the first time since their split in awkward moments at the launch press conference.
And as the 72-year-old went up to the microphone to speak about Barrios' preparations, he brandished a t-shirt which read 'I'm a traitor'.
Garcia said: “How could you, Joe? That’s messed up.
"I just can’t believe you’re doing this to me. That’s insane. You hurt my heart.
“It’s over. We’re done. I’m breaking up with you again. You just broke my heart.
“Just move on. You were being sweet but I’m offended. It’s too late. I’m offended. I’m offended already, I’m hurt. All of that.
“It hurt me when he didn’t show up after my loss to Tank. That was a pretty big defeat in my heart. I’m a little disappointed in Joe’s decision to go against me, but that fires me up.”

Ryan Garcia has been fined $5,000 after missing a 14-day weight check deadline, an issue which has since been resolved.
Garcia is currently just a week out from his huge WBC welterweight world title clash with champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas.
'King Ry' is working towards the 147lbs limit, and was required to meet a standard 14-day weight check ahead of the showdown.
But in a fresh controversy, the American superstar missed the initial deadline to meet the check.
He did go on to submit video evidence of himself on target, tipping the scales at 154.2lbs when evidence was provided, leaving him within 5 per cent of the limit as required.
Although unfortunately he was late in his submission, and was fined $5,000 with a stern warning that he could face further punishment.
In a declaration of non-compliance revealed by Boxing Scene, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman wrote: "Ryan Garcia’s 14-day weight check was supposed to be received this past Saturday, February 7.
“Champion Barrios did comply with the video of this mandatory safety rule. The WBC hereby imposes a $5000 (five thousand dollars) fine for non-compliance.
“We expect to receive the weight video either today or first thing tomorrow morning depending on his training schedule.
"If we do not receive this video by then, we will be making a press statement and will contact the boxing commission with this concern.”

Re: Mario Barrios v Ryan Garcia
So Hitchins drops out same day due to "illness" ;). Hiraoka v Russell likely to be best all around fight on the card glad it was rescheduled from original date. But no favors to Hiraoka having visa problems and showing up stateside on only 3 days window. That acclimation can be a mf and he's no doubt going to show some adverse effects. Really no interest in Ryan and Barrios being honest but if Ryan cannot top a battle worn Barrios then he needs to just up and call it a day. Garcia is just not a serious fighter. Not sure how Dazn is staying in business with a $50 monthly rate that can only be subbed as an annual all-in. But pretty clear the "PPVs included" came with a big asterisk.
Re: Mario Barrios v Ryan Garcia
Ryan is, and has always been an overhyped joke. Try as they might, the media has been unable to propel him to where they would've liked to see him. Regardless of how tonight turns out. I'll never get behind someone who tries to take shortcuts to the top.
Re: Mario Barrios v Ryan Garcia
Well there you go. A cakewalk for the Instagram king. Not watching it. But from the rbr it appears Barrios is just a warm body in there.
Re: Mario Barrios v Ryan Garcia
Did not get up to watch this.
The real serious Ryan Garcia turned up and outclassed Barrios. Ryan was too fast, threw too many combinations and now has loads of options.
Russell beating Hiroaka was a entertaining contest.
Martin v Albright was a fun fight.
