American cable network HBO has signed WBA SMW Champ Mikkel Kessler!

HBO Sports programming vice president Kery Davis stated that they have signed the Dane on a six fights deal starting this fall after the Kessler will have a Danish farewell fight in Copenhagen this may against Rico Hoye

Davis also stated that HBO and Mikkel Kessler will target all major names from 160 to 175 pounds as future opponents.

I hope so he's fun to watch.

If it's true...it'll be the best thing for him...provided that he does fight outside of Germany.

If HBO has signed him...they shoulda tried to squeeze him on the Wlad Byrd II card. That woulda been good exsposure...but too short of notice for Kess.
