3 shots becus kos are not always about just power if you can hit someone in three different places it can have powerful affects on the body for a start it can make u los ur balance if ur hit on each side of ur head
Re: Which does more damage?
i dont know about this one
If you saw the Meldrick-Chavez fight, Chavez landed less but he did more damage.....tyzsu didn't need to land alot of punches but he always got the job done
Re: Which does more damage?
It's all about the angels. A less powerful shot that is clean is much more effective than a power shot that is partially blocked.

Gabriel, or Lucifer?
Re: Which does more damage?
Depends where too, one clean shot to the jaw will knock you down from the trauma but won't do as much as a shot to the temple which obviously moves the brain more.
more shots = move movement too... teh damage is caused because the skill moves and the brain doesn't (sort of like if you walk to the back of a bus... the bus is moving but you're not, keep walking and you'll bang into te back seats :P) so the more movement the more the brain bangs off the skull.
Re: Which does more damage?
3 punches probably. Why one bomb when you can land 3 bombs. Sure one can change a shot but 3 can do more damage depending on who throws them
Re: Which does more damage?
Depends where it hits and who throws them. A guy like Tszyu does not need 3!!

To me its rather simple...70 x 3 = 210
and besides if the guy takes your best shot with 100% power on it and doesn't go down, this discourages you or any fighter...where as three punches at 70% power landing, is totally more effective than one bomb and it drains the opponent's will power too...what do you think?
I ask this because many wonder why PBF was hurting Judah without actually landing anything of serious intent on him, whereas Judah landed some very hard shots in the first few rounds that didn't get PBF out of there...This is why I think Judah stopped punching...
Depends on the person.. sometimes that extra 30% is all that is needed to knock the guy out.

That's why i said the test guy is whoever you think has a good chin....say tyson...if you were given the choice of landing three flush punches at 70 or one shot at 100..which would you prefer?

Most of the time it's better to take a little bit off of your shots and make sure that they land but it depends on the stage of a fight and who you're fighting.
If you're fighting a guy with a decent chin and good boxing skills who is probably going to win a decision against you, it might be best to try and land the biggest punch that you can deliver. If you're fighting a big puncher with an iron chin, it's much better to land more punches even if they don't hurt the opponent. That way you can pile up the points and go for the decision.
If you're way behind in a fight it becomes more important to go for a knockout. You can forget about piling up points because it's too late. Then it's best to put a lot into your punches, close to 100%.
