Re: Boxing Gloves, Muay Thai
i use muay thai gloves for boxing
www.twinsspecial.com
just get it on ebay
it cost me about 70 bucks canadian that includes shipping and everything
took about 3 weeks to arrive
Re: Boxing Gloves, Muay Thai
your getting too pairs right? A pair of gloves for sparring and a pair for bag work? you have to use boxing gloves to Spar and I would get shot off by coach he I used my sparring gloves for bag work... knocks all the stuffing out of them and some one ends up getting hurt.
Re: Boxing Gloves, Muay Thai
bag gloves from either are fine.
The difference I've found with sparring/fight gloves (though not exclusively) is that most boxing gloves have a stitched / fixed thumb and MT gloves aren't since you need the wrist flexibility and to be able to move your thumb for clinch work. Like I say NOT all brands have this.

No need :)
Missy, are you saying that a pair of 160z bag gloves would do for sparring? some may be suitable but not all bag gloves... the ones I've got are heavy but the knucle part is rock solid.
