"I have been sparring with live chickens as they emulate 'chicken' De La Hoya best. They run just like he does. Most people don't understand that of all the fighters in boxing, Oscar is the one I like least. He's a pretty boy and it makes me want to defeat him.

"He shouldn't have gone down from that body shot that Bernard Hopkins threw. Everyone knows he took a dive in that fight.

I would also say the same goes for Mayorga. I know some boxers have plans to get inside their oppenents head's, but I really think antagonizing Oscar is a bad idea for Mayorga.

CC for the article,yeah I recall Trinidad either hurting Mayroga seriously OR knocking him down with a body shot. Mayorga is funny but why is he feeding more fuel to the raging inferno that will be De La Hoya? Why would you give someone ammo to whoop your ass? Did he disrespect Tito like this too? I'm still not sure,Oscar has been out from so long,and I DON'T want to see PBF-Oscar so I think I am rooting for Mayorga! :-\

I totally agree with Mayorga - I've always maintained that DLH took a dive against Hopkins. If he had enough strength to thump the canvas while he was down, he had enough strength to get up. Something about that fight stinks...

And yes Mayorga did get put down hard by Tito's body shots - but Tito's left hook his harder than Hopkins' - and Mayorga got up each and every time. He is (or was??) tougher than DLH by a street.

I like Mayorga in this fight big time - provided Tito didn't take all the fight out of him with that beatdown.

yeah but Mayorga kept getting back up even though he was in agony, ODLH took the easy way out and stayed down :-X

i wouldnt go calling de la hoya a chump though just because he got beat by the then best boxer in the world. i dunno if the KO was genuine, but i'd like to see some of you take a body shot from b hop and get up and 'fight like a man' .

when mayorga has achieved what oscar has in pro boxing then he can talk the trash. He does talk ourt of his arse a lot

yeah buts thats his game, he's there to say outragous stuff and draw attention to the fight(which he does very well) it also helps that he's tough as nails and exciting to watch!
