Hill running
i have a hill close to my home that is steep and takes just over 20 mins to run up (running in intervals) and about 17 mins as a steady jog to get down. Ihave been doing this twice a wk for the last few wks and feel better for it. I am training towards next season amateurs and havent had a fight yet. do u think this hill running will help me?

Re: Hill running
Gally One thing if you do lots of hill work, spend some time Streching your Hamstrings and your Achilles and Calves very important

Re: Hill running
I'll vouch for that... a combination of doing loads and loads of hill work and heavy lifting using my legs has left my with a bad case of 'snapping hip'.
If I'd stretched a bit more when I developed it then it would never have gotten like this.

Re: Hill running
Im jealous I have been looking for a good hill to run. Yours sounds great! I use to run up a hill by a freeway at my old gym to do sprints. It gave me lots of stamina
keep it up
