He should of just dropped down to Cruiserweight ???
Fat goofs gettin old... cant shift the weight anymore. :D
Exactly right, he is too old to be bangin with the big boys, Cruiserweight is exactly where he needs to beQuote:

I don't know man he looks like a slo-mo version of his former self, there is no way he went into the fight of Wlad with the intention of trading.Quote:

I thought the Castillo fight was supposed to be at cruiser?
Castillo dropped down to cruiser for his last couple fights after the Wlad fight and I was thinking that this was Byrd's first fight at cruiser, maybe Castillo's moving back up for this fight, I don't know.
Glad to see that Byrd is coming back...but I wish that he'd come back under 200lbs.
I just don't think that he needs to fight at heavyweight.
Byrd is truly unappreciated.
In all truth...I'm not so sure that he shouldn't have hung em up after the Wlad TKO...but...then again...I aint him & I don't know what he's up against in that thick skull of his. ;D
CC, agreed there. Byrd has slowed down. He can be hit much easier now...Quote:

Coudn't care less. Byrd's a good boxer, and showed great ring prowess a few years back, but Im not into boxing to watch guys like Byrd. Guys with no power and great defense. Byrd and Ruiz can both share a canoe to some far away island and disappear forever with no harm done. He's never given me a reason to show love.
Any other heavyweights in the habit of fighting opponents with skill that outweigh them by over 50 pounds? ::**Quote:

Stike thatQuote:

Uninspiring only to those who cannot respect skill overcoming might.Quote:

TUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He beat Tua in a more one sided fashion then Lewis did and made it entertaining to watch him! that was a fight you become a Byrd fan on.Quote:

Maurice Harris who knocked out Sergei Lyakovich(your current WBO Heavyweight Champ and the second best of the 4 champions right now)
and Vitali Klitschko :)
And was the longest reigning of the champions there were when he got his title, he held it until a few months ago while the other champions lost theirs :)
holyfield victory he shouldnt get no credit he was well shot bit like tyson was against williams maurice harris got beat by 46 or 48 year old holmes cant remember exactly how old he was i thought vitali injured his shoulder ??Quote:
