I like the Burger King shirt ;D
Was just thinking that myself mate ;)
He does look dangerously thin imo but his pre fight fry up will have him back to normal in minutes ;D
I honestly don't recall seeing him look like that ever before.
:-\
jesus - am quite shocked looking at these
saw him on tv 3 months or so back looking a right porker
:-\ ::**
I don't either, its kind of like he will "weigh" 140 pounds but he won't be 140 pounds, something like that but, it just doesn't look "right" or something you know? :-\Quote:

hatton is big for a 140pounder he shouldn't be stressing to stay at 140. yea he didn't look good at 147 but I think his scared to stay at 147 that's why he move back down. he wants to take advantage of him being naturally bigger for 140pounder but him draining and stressing to reach 140 limit prolly is gonna bite him back in the ass.
Yeah his last fight was at 147 I don't think its a good idea for him to go and actually train to be 147 pounds regardless of what and then just go back to 140 thats taxing on your body, Ricky may have taken 3 years out of his career :-\
I hear the concern guys, but he only trained for 6 weeks to be 147lb.
Apparently this is only 24 hours after a 11hour flight and a big time adjustment.
He'll be cool come fight night 8)
his body doesn't look right to me man :-\
Yeah, Hatton's never looked like a pale white ghost before. What's with all these early excuses already?Quote:

All boxers are heavier outside of training... but fitness is a lifestyle... not a period of it... ballooning up so fat between bouts is hurting Ricky... always the same crap... I'm fine... look how easy I can make the weight... but it doesn't work like that... It's a long term thing... you cna only do what he does for so many years... he's shortening his career big time.
He's big for 140 any way... he should actually train to be a 147 fighter... that's what he actually is.
Yeah but the big mistake was actually training to it and fought at it and then goes back this next fight, thats a big mistake imo. Cause I dunno, but his body don't seem right even if it wasn't all muscle or whatever he fought and weighed 147 pounds fighting and his body can get used to that but then cutting weight not too long after. People can say what they want about him going up in weight the wrong way, he is sure coming down in weight the wrong way and it will effect his stamin and his legs, he was even fading late in the Collazo fight and Ricky was his greatest in the last rounds and if his condition wasnt par to the Collazo fight pushing it to make 140 isn't gonna make it any better, and one of his strengths is overpowering and bullying and imposing his will, if he doesn't have his power or legs or stamina to do that to Urango who loves to fight within that distance this could be an upset... :-\Quote:

CC aDAM gb,took the words out of my mouth. Ricky balloons too much in between fghts, that will catch up to him and he is jumoing from 140 to 147 back to 140 again, there is only so much strain a body can take regardless of how dedicated you are. I agree he looks...different somehow, not as muscular or something...but he does reportedly look really good in sparring, which is a good thing.

I don't think he looks too bad. His face is where the stress of losing weight is showing the most. I like his shirt though, lol he's got a good sense of humor about himself!
Yeah he balloons but Duran was another guy famous for it and it never hurt him much. Lots of people do it. Toney did it at the lower weights and it did catch up to him eventually but as far as I know Hatton has been ballooning since his amateur days so it can't be to bad. At least I don't think.
As for him being at 147, isn't he like 5'8? How tall is Floyd? Because the 147's are getting huge now and Paul Williams is just an absolute freak of nature. I'm wondering how the guys below 5'10 like Hatton, Cotto and Floyd are going to fair against the Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito's and Joshua Clottey's of the division. Especially Williams. That guy just blows me away. Is he really facing Margarito? Because he could throw a serious wrench in that potential Cotto - Margarito matchup.
He's just 5'6"
Urango & Castillo are both 5'8"
Wow, that is the definition of weight drained. God, he's this weight drained a week away from the fight? He should have stayed at 147.
after seeing what hatton looks like on the hatton site and east side boxing im pretty confident.the main concerns to me was the injury, that now seems to be gone .he looks very strong and fit.its hard to believe that he fights at 140lbs.he looks happy and alert.hopefully he doesnt have to lose to much more wt. im sure he is keeping very hydrated so that the last day or so he can cut back on the fluids and work up a good sweat ,and make the wt without affecting his electrolite balance .as long as ricky is well prepared mentally and physically thats all we can ask,and that seems to be the case based on the photos and reports.he looks very musculer and strong, and he will need to be against the mac truck like urango.this fight is extremely exciting matchup and it will be very interesting to see how it unfolds because urango is a awkward and well schooled southpaw that is looking for holes in rickys defense.which hatton has many ,and urango has one punch ko power and will be dangerous tell the bitter end.
Fuck me!! :oQuote:

Look what Cotto did right after he looked like a corpse for the weigh in. He moved up. Hatton should really consider going up or retiring if he doesn't wanna fight @ 147.
did you see pbf shirt though, hatton wasn't eating burgers in that one he was eating punches juts like the gatti shirt pbf has. hahaQuote:

Weight Draining is Long-Term, if he's doing it, and he may not be, we never know...
but if he is, then it won't affect him until about 2 years or more from now. Remember he's still a very young man.

The hip problem is getting worse.
Hatton always looks like that, I don't see any difference, just because he's pale and pasty people think the weight drain is bad, boxers who boil down always have very low body fat % but seriously, ricky has complete faith in his camp and they've never let hi down. Kerry Kayes (his nutritionist) is an absolute genius, ricky can eat as much as he wants in camp, it just has to be what kerry tells him to eat, and he always makes the weight. This fight will be no excecption, you'll see it in his body language at the weigh in he's 100%.

Here's the link to all the photos, you picked the worst 2 there, he looks absolutly fine.
As long as the man in the ring isn't making excuses then they ain't excuses VD.Quote:

Exactly Ricky looks in great shape to me no fat just muscle. Ricky cant win, People call him fat when he puts a bit of extra weight on when he is not in training and when he loses it everyone says he is too thin!! The Hitman will put on a top performance on the 20th im sure and show the haters that he is back and is still the same fighter that made Tszyu retire on his stool!!
If anything, he looks in shape.
Did you see how he looked at the Tszyu weigh in?
Ricky didnt look that much different at the Tszyu weigh in to how he does now in my opinion, I think if my memory is correct the Hitman weighed in at about 139.8 pounds at the Tszyu weigh in.
Yeah 139 3/4 is 139.75 he's never ever missed the weight and never will. He's too determined and his camp are too smart, the second he suffers the effects of weight drain is the time he'll go to welter for good.Quote:

He looks in great shape and in great spirits, Billy Graham looks a bit tired though!!
Im really looking forward to seeing The Hitman fight again (only on Sky unfortunately)
I agree he looks in great shape,he's always been as white as a ghost.Think we are going to see the best of Hatton he's gonna batter Urangos body and stop him in 9.Well thats what i recon anyway lol.
Perfect excuse to get down the pub then or have a get together, spread that £15 by saying i'll buy the fight, you bring the ale. Thats what I do ;)Quote:
