Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
I'm curious what Barrera is training right now. Opposite to PAcquaio's training, which has become too public, there seems to be no words or update from the BArrera camp.
A dreadening silence which may augur a surprise come October. O0

Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
Pacquaio\'s outside distraction will haunt him one day. I think this might be the fight in which it does
-
Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
Barrera's not a fighter to take lightly, under any circumstances. He's seemed pretty serious since the JMM fight - it's like he thinks he has something to prove again.
If I were Pacman, I'd be training harder than ever. I think MAB is on a mission.

Am afraid you are right. MAB is on for the greatest fight in his life. The good thing about it is, he knows it.

Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
Pacquiao isnt loud, he's a soft spoken guy. Its the 200 people in the gym with him thats loud...I agree tho I think Barrera is pissed after the Marquez decision, thats gonna be his fuel, and Barrera is best when he's pissed.
-
Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
I'm leaning towards Marco
-
Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
Pac is soft spoken but hes also busy clubbing and womanzing. There is nothing wrong with that, but his mind is gonna get lazier and lazier with all those distractions. That is why roach didnt want him training in Philippines, too many distractions.
Take a strong willed man and give him lines and lines of woman wanting to get on top of him and you will have a weak willed man in a month.
Barrera is taking the other route. His silence is speaking loads about what he is going to be about in this fight. You know he's burning that inner fire right now... a cold flame that he is waiting to unleash and punish Pacman with. I think he will box and punish with vicious counters.
Pacquiao always got that burning red fire like a wildfire. Still, pac is pac..you know what you are getting. I think mab is a bit more sinister than pacquaio...mab got ideas that pacquiao doesnt even think about... like revenge
-
Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
Does this remind anyone of Rocky III where Mr T was training one way and Rocky was training another(before the first fight) it just reminds me of that

man, you have a great imagination. thats what everybody thought before their first fight. pac is predictable, he will do the same exact thing. let me tell you what i think. MAB is the one thats predictable. once he gets hit, he will just abandon his boxing plan and will brawl. and you know what the likely result will be.

By loud, I mean his training is full of media people. Don't like it. Those media people are distractions. O0

Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
both guys actually have something to prove, mab looking for revenge and pac to prove the first was not bkuz of all the excuses mab fans had. as hungry as what you guys want to think mab will be I doubt he has the ability to neutralize pacs speed and power.
His going to need to go for a knock out and that means brawl, which won't be a good idea against pacman.
and man brucelee you have 350plus post now, and it seems like 300 of them are pac related or pac new thread. geez since you came along theres always atleast 3 pac topics at the front page ;D
u need to watch your sd and cc ratio too man, +28/-26 isn't so good. u got to improve it to stick long enough for october ;)

MAB aint washed up at all. Pac's life has gotten more and more distractions since they last fought 4 years ago.
Pac feels at the top of his game...he going slack off in training?
Pac got media all over him....he gonna cut some workouts early?
Pac got women and fans all over him...whats he going to do?
So many questions about pacman floating around there.
MAB is a smart man. He knows the fight he tried to fight last time wont work. He will adapt his plan. He will study pac's weakness.
He has 1/100 of the outside distractions that Pacquiao does. We will see how it effects them in the ring.

Julius,
thank you for the reminder. As I have posted before, I am a pacquaio fan. Before PAcquaio, I am a Barrera fan. My two boxing "idols" are fighting again. I just can't help but speak my voice. My cc-sc ratio is not too good coz I speak my mind. Don't you worry. I know how to hold my peace.
I am just curious about the sc. Is a very high sc a reason for me to be banned from this forum? If yes, how many SCs does it take to be banned. O0

Lee, i guess you make a lot of pac posts, but so what? You've been making good posts man, so keep posting whateva it may be youre posting!
You won't get banned for having a lot of sc. Think of them as battle scars ;)
Dont know how you got so many scs's though, you seem like a good poster (must be some pac haters about). Have a #29 cc.

I'm not really into gambling ICE COLD. Since you want a friendly game, I am accepting your offer. I am willing to change my name. I am even thinking of betting my sig. I just don't know the consequence of betting it.Please elucidate me further. O0

Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
I want Marco to win this one, i really do. And i give him a shot, i expect him to perform exteremely well, but he's got so old in the past couple of years, i'm not fearful for him it's jus im not sure how long he can keep the pace required to stay with Pac.
-
Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
MAB on point has more than enough skill to frustrate Pacquaio. I'm really expecting him to try and outbox Pac this time around.

I guess I'm endangered especies too huh? ;D

Re: Barrera: Too silent , Pacquaio:Too loud
hehehe. they'll ban us for connivance.
in truth, pacstraight, it's okay for me if Barrera wins. A trilogy will be more exciting..... there will be more speculations. If pacman wins, I will be happier, of course.

No, it's not ok. F*ck the trilogy with MAB. Win or lose, Pac will never gain any good reputation by fighting worn-out fighter like Barrera. Just to let you know, the winner of that fight will face another rematch (JMM).
After he succeeds with MAB & JMM,... then Soto, and Valero. It'll be stepping stones for Pac to greatness.

Barrera has a decent shot at beating Pac. Im not into a trilogy either.
Barrera should beat Pac convincingly and then retire.
I believe Barrera when he says this is his final year.

Well consider this:
When Hatton & Castillo were due to square off in Vegas, news on Castillo's preparations was very slight too. (Until a few days before with the news on withheld purses etc)
I was concerned then, that Castillo wasn't getting any coverage.
I concern was that Castillo was being unfairly sidelined or portrayed as the 'number.2' and that the general consensus among the media was that Castillo wasn't on Hatton's level (Although no one actually said this).... Incidentally, this turned out to be the case.
Once again, imp thinking that the media, indirectly, are now portraying Barerra as the 'number 2' as well.
Its a formula iv'e spotted, hence I’m looking for Pacuaio to do a number on Barerra.
