I've only been a reader of this board for a short while but have always wondered what nationality each poster is. This inturn would help me (and others) understand why you back or dismiss certain fighters in the way you do.
It's pretty obvious who's English as they have an almost blind faith in the unbeatable Ricky Hatton ;)
So where you from or where do your alliegences lie?
Well I'm a proud :britain: but will say it here and now that Floyd will hand Ricky Hatton his ass.

I think Hatton is rough as a cob but still has zero chance of moving up in weight and beating Mayweather. I would rather see Hatton take on Witter. That would be a freebie here in the USA.

Cannot be a fan of many Canadian fighters, except maybe Steve Molitor as he has some good talent in him.
I consider Myself more of a fan of aggressive fighters like Pavlik, Miranda, Hatton, Margarito, Cotto etc.
I really seem to get into the art of Body Punching. Mike McCallum and Tommy Hearns are my all time favorite fighters.

I'm from the west coast of Canada, but all the decent Canadian fighters are either from Quebec or Ontario, which means I feel little nationalistic connection to any of them - Lucien Bute is a damn good fighter though, but I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan of his. I do like Molitor quite a bit, but honestly nationality does not really play a role in who I cheer for. My favorite fighters come from a variety of countries as do the fighters I dispise.

I was born in Newcastle NSW Australia (East coast - about 2hrs North of Sydney) and now live at Cessnock about 55klm's inland from Newcastle. It's best known as a wine region with probably a couple of hundred vineyards now operating there.
So I guess my leaning might naturally be for Hatton but I don't think it would matter too much where i live or was from i think i'd feel the same.

I'm American....I hate Floyd Mayweather and hope he is beaten senseless before he retires, but I don't think Ricky Hatton is the guy that will do it......I'm hoping like hell but I don't see it happening.
