Back on Sky, it said last night, September 8th I think it said.
I think they've got afew lined up
Not a bad thing cuz although I was laughing at the lack of quality in the 1st I actually found it interesting to watch and was hooked by the end. Unlike the normal Friday night that has 1 decent fight and the rest all bums, prizefighter actually keeps the interest throughout the show and the winner gets a shot at a semi decent name.
Looking 4ward to it .
Prizefighter2 is shown on the 12th of september at the Metro Radio Station Arena mateys!!!!!!;DIm looking forward to this one.The first one was great entertainment!
They're going to have to pay the original winner first and follow through on his name fight;)
I am on holidays when its on so I will have to SKYplus it!:(
I loved the first one so this should be good.;D
1st one was good entertainment, don't think any ell make it big time world but good fun.
Looking fowrd to next un
Didn't realise this until I read it recently but theyr'e planning on doing a welterweight prizefighter (and another heavyweight one later in the year) your thoughts on this? I think if it gets over done the novelty could wear off though, i'd rtaher it stay an annual thing i reckon. Makes it more of an chievement to win it also. I'm rooting for Pele Reid ;D
Pele Reid yes good
My man Chris Burton(Hightower) is living in his trainers"Neil Fannon" caravan in his back yard.Chris used to train in my old Gym before he turned pro. He's a big lad 6'4" and is undefeated in 11 fights and he's young to.He got married not so long ago but has put his Honeymoon on hold after getting the call for PRIZEFIGHTER2.He's favourite to win but who knows really.Mind you he is a sound bloke and i hope he does win and has a great holiday.Go for it Hightower!!!Im raelly looking forward to this!
I normally record every fight i get the chance but saw the lack of talent in the first one and thought no i wont bother. What a mistake, a great night of entertainment.
Could be interesting, Sexton isnt a bad heavyweight either, just short of stamina
Chris burton's(HighTower)trainer Neil Fannon has mentioned that he is right on form in the run up to PRIZEFIGHTER2.He has mentioned in my local paper that Chris has had trouble with his left elbow and has had a injection on it to sort it out,but he said that it wont bother him in the slightest and he has only missed one day of sparring.
Im really hoping to get a ticket to watch this event.Hightower is favourite to win it.Im rooting for you Chris!
My money is on Pele reid. The mans explosive and thats whats needed.
Yeah think i might root for Pele Reid as he's a bit of a cult hero from when i was younger lol :D
Saw Burton's last fight against Lee Swaby he looked decent wheareas reid looked awful in his last but it was against a good John Mcdermott.
Looking forward to this could see some surprises
Great one mate,"Top draw!"I'll still have a look in me local coral betting shop later to check on the prices to see if there any better.Great work mate.Swaby is not a bad bet to win it!I know Burton beat him when their foughta 6 rounder a while ago,but Swaby had him in trouble at the beginning though,so he has a fairly good chance to win, then again their all do really.Thats what makes this tournament sooo entertaining, you just dont know what will happen.
I'll Rep yeh mate!
Hi their folks! Is anyone going to watch this Live up in Newcastle?Im hoping to grab a ticket tomorrow;D.I cant wait to watch this and have a fewc bets!!
What a great opening to the first edition of the new PRIZEFIGHTER1 back in April.Great action as i new there'd be.My man David Dolan did as i thought he would but just could'nt get passed the "RAW" Martin Rogan.Rogan fought really well and deserved to win.FANTASTIC TOURNAMENT!I hope im a winner on my bet that Chris"Hightower"Burton wins the second coming of PRIZEFIGHTER2 soon. He's a big lad.

Sexton Vs Reid
Simkin Vs Ferguson
Burton Vs Ingleby
Swaby Vs Morgan
Prizefighter The Tournament will have two more divison classes at the end of this year.Barry Hearn has said that he is having a Welterweight and Middleweight contest later this year.I was hoping it would happen next instead.I just hope he does'nt kill off what he has started too soon.
Think i'll take a punt on Pele Reid in this ;D
Burton should win it on the form book. But if the fights are anything like last time (punch-ups) being the best boxer goes out the window ;D
Pele Reid is the only fighter that really stands out in terms of being a recognisable name. Surley if theres any talent in this tournament then Pele will get found out
Saying that I will be hoping he wins. The last one was good and this will be exciting waiting to see how long it is b4 Pele gets tagged.
This is all about who fights the hardest, look at Dolan in the last one, he fell about like a rag doll.
I would say Pele because he has power, this format may be perfect for him, get in there hopefully land soon, get out not knackered for the next.
I thought Pele looked dire against McDemott last time, really looked old, but ive backed him in this purely cause he can punch and at 5/1 thought he'd be a bit shorter.
Alright they mate.Where did you get them odds from,at which bookmakers?Good odds really!I think Swaby will have a good chance this time round too.My man Chris "Hightower" Burton is the one im backing the most on.Mind you he has the tools to do the job but he did look a bit laboured the last time i fought at a six rounder.
GO ALL THE WAY HIGHTOWER!DO YOUR OLD GYM PROUD!!!WE'LL BE ROOTING FOR YOU!;)
Alright they mate.I understand where your coming from about our man David Dolan in the last tournament. It was the fact that he was'nt a natural heavyweight fighter. He makes a great Cruiserweight and its his main division that he feels comfortable at!!You could see in the last Prizefighter like.Mind you,our Chris Burton it a real Heavyweight! He has the tools to do this.I just hope he has the stamina left in his tank to win the final fight!!!
Burton's fight with Swaby was over 8 rounds i think,i was there, but a bit drunk,i know he laboured a bit,but over 3x3 i think it will suit him perfectly,Burton for me with Swaby causing a few surprises.
Check out "expert" Johnny Nelson's guide to prizefighter
Luke Simpkin (Derby) 42-10(KO 8)-29-3
JOHNNY SAYS: One of the frontrunners, in my opinion. He's one of the more experienced, he's won more than he's lost and he can box. He'll fancy his chances of not only out-boxing, but taking these guys out.
Simpkin is a 33/1 outsider. Nelson has read his record wrong or is confusing him with someone else.
Either way that is a pathetic mistake from an "expert".
Sky Sports | Boxing | Columnists | Johnny Nelson | All eyes on the prize
Johnny Nelson always comes out with stupid commenst so its nothing new
Anyway Im really lloking forward to this. Ive got the beer in . If its half as good as the last 1 , we are in for a fun night .
Burton is knackered, the amount of clean shots he landed, I dont think he has much power, he also took some clean shots from slow Ingleby.
any live streams on this one fellas....if so couldyou pm me please???
Job Biscuit (Watch Reidgetting sparked isvery entertaining...lol)!!!!
eh eh!!!
This is boring . I wish I'd have gone out now
No knockdowns let alone K.O's
Sexton was a bit of a dark horse, did very well though, looked good an all,
The final made up for it . It was a good fight and the only stoppage on the show
With the upcoming welterweight prizefighter coming up Im abit concerned about overkill
So far the winners have been Rogan and Sexton , neither are exactly decent so it may turn into a embarrassment to be in prizefighter unless they increase the quality of the contestants
Any video's anyone ?
