Wlad Klitschko being a chicken???

It seems to me like Wlad was glad David hurt himself he could have fought 3 weeks from the 20th june the 11th july but chose to push for the Chagaev fight it looked to me like Wlad was glad to get away from the more dangerous Haye. The fight had built up to be a big fight now for the fans and boxing world Wlad should have fought David on july 11th the thing that made me laugh more than anything is Wlad beat the punch bag Chagaev then says Haye must get in line and earn his shot yet he was wiling to fight him before the injury to me Wlad is just being a CHICKEN!! he knows he could lose so he continues to fight these fighters with no movement and no fighting heart. The back injury was a blessing for Wlad because he can get out of the fight without losing face it werent his fault Haye injured himself but all in all i think this will make Wlad look bad because its starting to look like Wlad is going to try and avoid Haye till sombody does him a favour and beats him so he never gets to the point of having to defend against him. Or perhaps he want his brother to beat Haye being he is the better of the 2 and has the better power and chin.

Right now it doesn't matter who or how David Haye beats in the heavyweight division, he's not beating Wladimir or Vitali

I think your wrong both brothers are very beatable they just need to face sombody with power heart and more than anything ambition Haye would KO Wlad

.....yeah, somehow I don't think beating up poor Enzo Maccarinelli equates to acheiving success at heavyweight. David Haye can have all the ambition he wants but he's not winning vs either brother.

I don't know much about Haye's heart or skill level at heavyweight, but I do know the guy wants to retire soon and I am sure Wladimir will oblige him.

Bullshit... He wouldn't wait for 3 weeks and gave Haye an extremely shitty deal that most fighters wouldn't have taken in the first place.

Haye wasn't going to be ready in 3 weeks, didn't you read that Haye wanted the fight July 25th, that's when Booth said Haye would be ready??? That's 5 weeks!!!! David Haye had the chance to fight Wlad earlier and he balked at it ALSO let's not forget that David Haye pulls no weight at heavyweight so shit yeah he signed a bad contract but if he truly wanted to make the fight happen then well as the saying goes "to make an omlette you have to break a few eggs" tough shit it's a fucking business and Haye had no pull so there you go.

Saying Haye "has no chance" is being realistic at this point, what has Haye done? What the hell can he do to show he can beat Wladimir? Even if he KO'd Sam Peter with 1 punch in the first round (something that is HIGHLY unlikely) that would not mean all that much vs a guy who controls pace and distance as well as Wladimir.

David Haye will be a lot higher risk than Chagaev Wlad panics when a feather fisted puncher gets near him thing is David is not feather fisted even a glancing blow off Haye could knock Wlad out these Klits are very beatable a hungry fighter who believes in himself and wants more than just the payday can win.

Has Haye beat anyone of importance yet at the Heavyweight division?

This argument seems to be never ending and even as a Haye fan i am starting to get fed up of it. I think Haye should get in the ring against whoever he can make a fight with and get in line and along the way get some HW experience.

To me Haye is about the only person who has a chance of beating either brother at the moment but it's time to shut up and fight his way back into contention and make it impossible for Wlad to avoid him. If Haye is not careful Wlad is going to have had 3 fights since David stopped Monte Barrett and that is not the activity of someone who is desperate to become HW champion.

That is true i keep thinking this myself David hasint fought since 15th November 2008 he needs a fight and quick.

I personally think Haye is just hype coming into the heavyweight division. Both Klit brothers are sending him back to cruiserweight. I think he has a better chance against Wlad, but he will jab Haye into a "pizza face" (LOL!).

I don't rate Haye at all, I think he gets battered very soon, but........ He does have a punchers chance against Wlad. It would be foolish to think it inconcievable that Haye KOs Wlad, Corey Sanders did it and Lamont Brewster did it - I don't think it will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me! Wlad is much more powerful, much bigger, better jab, better hook, the hell of a conditioning, did beat more significant opponents all around, is a natural heavyweight when Haye is not a natural HW, got rocket by a very ordinary Barrett, never beat any significant HW... Sorry but I have to strongly disagree here. Thus said, Wlad picked up one of the most significant HW as a replacement, not a washed up boxer, one of the top in the division, I don't exactly call it a coward.

As the general consensus within the boxing world is that Haye pulled out due to the collapse of Setanta and him not getting paid rather than an imaginary back problem a future date of July 11th, July 25th or whenever was never going to happen.

His back is and always has been fine, he quit over the Setanta issue and they still wouldn't pay him in June or July so Wlad had no choice.

Plus Chagave has the proven record at heavyweight not Haye so its hard to really believe that Wlad ducked Haye out of fear in order to face hands down the number one challenger in the division (Vitali excluded of course)

well you can't expect to have the greatest deal when you're not that big of a draw internationally, especially stateside, and looked basically like crap in your only 2 fights at heavy, Haye was lucky to even bed lined up to get a shot in the first place, he didn't do shit to deserve it and he doesn't have the superstar status that Pacquiao does, to demand a title fight in his first or second fight at a weight, especially when the only accomplishment he's accomplished was to clean out the only division that was in fact weaker than the HW division when Haye reigned, i'd go far enough to say it's still the weakest division, Haye pussied out of his biggest fight, why should Wlad pay the price? and TysonBruno how is Klitschko a chicken? he's taken on already 8 of the top 10 HEAVIES, he's the lineal champion, not Haye, he sets the terms, not Haye

What back injury? And I think Wlad was a little happy the Haye fight didn't happen. I think Wlad was satisfied he was able to get some rounds of work in with Chagaev. He would of got like only one round if he fought and destroyed Haye

How is Chagaev, a legitimate, then undefeated heavyweight title-holder, who happens to be a southpaw, less dangerous that David fucking Haye - a man who has proven sweet fuck all as a heavyweight?

This might be the most ridiculous thing I've read outside of a Pacquiao thread in a long time. David Haye pulls out of a fight with a mysterious injury and Klitschko is a "chicken" because he picks arguably the next best heavyweight next to his brother, who was fully prepared for a title fight, as a last-minute replacement?

i think wlad has had enuff of haye, but not in a cowards way, wlad obviously dislikes haye & doesnt want to give him a shot at title again! wlad would of been pissed off fight was cancelled & wanted to defend on that date & i dont see any problem with that myself he has trained & was ready for that date. haye needs to fight asap against anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wlad has had enough of Haye but in the end Wlad wants to fight him but can't as he has mandatories: Alexander Povetkin WBO #1 (I predict an early to mid round KO 2-5) and the winner of Dimitrenko-Chambers...Dimitrenko should get a little more credit, IMO he's the guy (if anyone) Wlad should worry about 6'7 250+, undefeated, fast hands, and is trained by Fritz Sdunek Wlad's former trainer and I think Dimitrenko will beat Chambers soundly so Alexander Dimitrenko will be the #1 IBF mandatory.

I hope he does fight one of them. I only see him winning by KO vs either and with Peter flooring Wlad multiple times it would be a huge statement to make.

I think both Sam Peter (when properly motivated) and Lamon Brewster would give David Haye fits....Lamon ain't a pushover, he's got a hell of a chin and as long as Buddy doesn't stop the fight he could get Haye to gas out OR he could just plain catch him. Hell I think Andrew Golota would be a dangerous fight for Haye....ANYONE who either is a good boxer or has enough of a chin to last the distance with Haye is dangerous for him to fight....Dominick Guinn would be tough for him to beat, he doesn't like throwing a ton of punches but he has a solid chin and has some power

I find the thread title itself, ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS.

I would love Wlad to fight him in his next fight just to get him out of the way. Just shut the hype job up and his cocksmoking fans,and clean house of the rest of the divsion and retire. He is the best now and their is no one on the horizon.

Thats some fucked up opinion if you think that is the truth, i mean how do you think Klit feels after all the bad blood and the fact HBO pulled out after this fight has been on the cards for the last six months, Haye if anyone should be called the chicken, i still think wothout doubt its the Setanta deal why Haye pulled out, even David Pryce fellow stablemate, said it was a bit fishy.

I dont blame Wlad for saying Haye should go down the proper route but lets be honest he wont, Haye brngs so much more to the table than the rest of the fat slobs in the division he will fight one of the two.
