Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
At Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA
Martin Honorio (27-4-2 (14 KOs), is trying to build on his momentum gained on his upset victory over John Molina on Showtime's: Next Generation (which was supposed to be a showcase fight for Molina). Molina had clearly underestimated Honorio and could not find any answers for the ring generalship of Honorio.
His opponent Wilton Hilario (12-0-1 (9 KOs), I honestly don't know much about. Looking at boxrec he has a pretty padded record, but he is younger and taller. We will see his quality tonight.
The likely undercard is Rico Ramos 14-0 (8 KOs) vs. Cecilio Santos 24-12-3 (14 KOs). This is definately a showcase fight for Ramos, there's a lot to like about this kid he's fast, sharp and has quick feet. Like Danny Jacobs he doesn't have one-punch KO power, but he has the ability to overwhelm when the opening is available. Look for Teddy to talk about the experience of Santos, he's been in with some amazing competition, Banal, Moreno, Montiel, Vazquez Jr. etc. the common thread he's been flattened by them all. I think Santos is pretty much worn out at this point.

Please not the horses. I'm thinking he may just compare slots and blackjack.

I'm actually excited to see how Ramos does here, he has promise for sure. However, FNF can set you to move up or destroy your dreams, this is where the upsets happen.

Alright what's your fight plan analogy guess?

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Damn, that KFC boneless fillet looks really good right now! Pure heart attack material, but gets the job done nicely.

It's going to have to be horses. Or maybe sharks.

Filling you up, I mean. Not giving you a heart attack. Though obviously it does both things quite nicely.

It was airplanes, why didn't we think of airplanes?

A runway to the body lmao, gotta bring it in for a landing hahah.
Atlas is one of a kind.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Santos looks far too small to make this much of a fight. Very one sided.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
I've given up on streams, nobody does them anymore, its just a wasteland outside of sopcast
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
According to boxrec Santos is 5'2", to his credit he has landed two very nice right hands and he's hangin in there. Ramos is trying too hard to look smooth.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Ah crap! Thanks Sheep but The link just sits there...nothing happening? All I have is some lil Wayne looking wank jumping around on cam from a hotel and trying to freestyle ??? He's not that good
Any alternatives :cwm13:

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Looks like Ramos is unraveling a bit. His facial expressions are those of frustration. That's what happens when you expect a 1 round KO and the guy doesn't go away.

unless you want to come over no sorry.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
I don't know about Ramos, I think he's going to struggle against diversity. No doubt he was in control and has some serious skills, but I'll go on record right now saying I think he can be mentally broken.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Ooh, stopped him. It was a decent enough showing, but Santos was a little hobbit. If you can't beat a dwarf, then you shouldn't really be boxing.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Don't give up the day job Manny. :-\

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
I can 'sense' the Teddy hacks...has he yet?Whos in studio ?Reminds me of the really bad ol days without cable........someone at least give me your cell and sit the phone down in front of speakers for me :cwm31:;D

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
The two biggest stars of the sport
Mayweather. He's a douche, talks about money all the time and illegitimate claims to being the GOAT.
Pacquiao. Does Karaoke every chance he gets.
Which is less annoying? To me neither, they are equally as annoying.

Right now Dan Rafael is in studio.
Atlas picked Pacquiao over Clottey.
Which fight will be better poll
69% - Mayweather / MOsley
31% - Pac / Clottey
No hacks yet.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Rafael is annoying. Mayweather/Mosley is on after Pac ran away, what more could Mayweather do? Fight Matthew Hatton? I can't stand Mayweather, but you have to give some credit to him for fighting Mosley.
I thought Teddy broke down the Pac/Clottey fight quite well too.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Now up Junior Welters 4 rounds
Fabian Luque vs. Michael Dallas Jr.
Junior is the prospect
Round 1
They come out, Dallas throws a few jabs to the body. Dallas is one of those bouncing types. Luque tries a wild haymaker, Dallas makes him pay. Dallas likes the clinch. Luque lands a glancing right, Dallas counters with a left hook. Another jab to the body. Dallas lands a few mean straight rights. Uppercut Luque looks hurt. Dallas looking to finish strong. Dallas swiping away at the body. Dallas steps in with an uppercut and clinch. A spin, right hook and Luque is down. Luque up at 7, the ref looks at Luque and waives it off, not a bad call, he legitimately looked dazed.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
F**in right!!;D I made the party :drunks: Thanks Greg,Miles.1st one seen this season haa........Mike dallas Jr...oh god!!!!!!!! lmao
btw..not directed at dudes skills....but think his father was a fighter??
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Yeah, good stoppage. He was out of his depth in there and took a few hard shots.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Mosley looks so nervous in front of the press. I don't think he's nervous about the fight.

Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Has anyone seen Hilario fight before? I'm totally drawing a blank.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Well it's easy to see what Hilario is trying to do, and he landed a few good shots. Honorio is just pasting him from the outside though.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Ha, the hack cometh;D.....have not Greg.Has some worn names on resume for so young but I have no clue?
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
2nd verse same as the first. Some of those body shots from Honorio look very strong.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Interesting little fight, a matador and bull type affair.
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Teddy the fireman :lolhaha:
-
Re: Tonight on FNF!! 3/5/10
Honorio clearly has won every round so far in my estimation. I don't think Hilario has a plan 'B' which means to me this should continue in the same manner until he wears out.
