If Wlad has one fight left on his RTL deal that may be right.

Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
I thought everything was agreed on a 50-50. Seems like its the same old broken record that will now force Haye to fight Ray Austin or perhaps Thompson.

Or Roy Jones or Bernard Hopkins

rematch with Audley is only way he can go
they better not piss us around again. At the end it will be boxing that loses

Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
Wlad needs to stop being a pussy and just sign the contract and be thankful he's getting paid seeing as he generates no where near the revenue that Haye will.

Sounds like it could well be signed soon, reading this.

Love how people are now believing everything David Haye and Adam Booth say...

Well I'd point out the obvious flaws in your post, but that would be a waste of time because you wouldn't want to compare gate numbers between the two fighters...I suppose 60,000+ showed up to see Ruslan Chagaev? And 50,000+ showed up to see Eddie Chambers?
I love how they say "The deal is 50/50 just what Wlad wanted the whole time"......no 50/50 is what the WBA title holder wanted and then REFUSED to give until just recently. All the hang ups to this deal so far have been on one side.....and it ain't the Klitschko's. If it was Wlad's choice this fight would have happened almost 2 years ago.

This is getting beyond a joke... Too many politics.

As usual you've avoided the point.
1) Are you telling me Klit is the one bringing of the bigger % of revenue to the fight?
2) If you are implying 'Yes' to the above why didn't the Klit agree to the origonal proposal of Haye having Uk money and klit having the russian/german/other cut?
3) You'd rather see Klit fight Chisora. Nuff said.
-
Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
Yeah Haye is finally agreeing to 50/50 however, he has also added a brand new stipulation:
If Haye can get a TV station to bid on the fight, and the bid is more then what RTL(the network Wlad is tied to) is paying, then Wlad has to pay Haye the difference out of his own pocket.
so essentially, the challenger will make more then the champion.
-
Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
I just have one question about the Klit bros. Shouldnt Vitali be #1 mandatory for Wlad, and likewise in reverse. So when do these organizations start stripping them for not fighting no#1 mandatorys? ;D

1) He puts more asses in the seats...FACT
2) Because the UK PPV money is a lot of money, Wlad is the man of the division and of course he's going to get his fair share out of any contract. Your idea of Wlad giving up the British PPV money altogether is ridiculous.
3) I don't think there's that much of a difference to be honest...the WBA title holder is a bit more flashy but he'll get KO'd much like Chisora would...maybe earlier.

Stop ducking the questions
The 1st one wasn't about asses on seats it was about REVENUE. And if wlad puts so many more asses on seats and generates so much more money why did he not say 'ok david you can keep the chicken feed that is the Uk money I'll have everything else.' He didn't say that cuz he knows Haye is worth alot more than that. It seems that your boy wlad keeps makin you look an arse. First by taking a fight with chisora, then pulling out with an 'injury' and now pretty much admitting that Haye is more of a cash cow than he is. Lyle you really are comedy central at the moment and one of the few reasons why I keep coming back to post.
And your final thought that there isn't much difference between Haye and Chisora tells me how little you know about either fighter and how much you talk out of your arse.
-
Hornfinger watch the fights, watch Wlad dominate and end the fight when he so chooses, it doesn't matter which Britain he fights both will be easily outclassed and severely out gunned and both will be humiliated in the ring. That's all I have to say on the issue until the fight (either fight) is actually signed and ready to go.

To be honest I've been arguing with you on this fight for over 2 years now Lyle and I don't really want to anymore. One thing I will say though is If Haye and Wlad do fight at Wembley Stadium, the amount of people that turn up to see that fight will dwarf anything Wlad has managed in Germany. FACT.
No matter how you try and dress things up, Haye brings more to the table moneywise than Wlad.
It's a fight I am looking forward to because I truly believe both men COULD beat the other. Haye has the power to KO Wlad, FACT. Wlad has the power to KO Haye FACT. Haye is a lot faster than Wlad, Wlad is a lot bigger than Haye. It's all swing and roundabouts and until they do meet everyone will have their own opinion, but one thing you cannot deny is that Haye brings more money to the fight than Wlad. I'm not saying for one minute Wlad doesn't deserve the 50/50 split because he does. He is the man of the division until he gets beaten, FACT. But trying to deny Haye brings the more money to the table is scandalous and also Haye has only been putting 20,000+ people in seats because thats all the arena's over here hold. A fight with Klit at Wembley could see 80,000+.

Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
Some more news on this issue, looks like Haye is really pushing for this, he is willing to take a £2m paycut to secure the fight !!
What excuse will the Klits NOW come up with i wonder

it was never clear who was making the excuses, haye made himself look a dick by the way he kept going on about it and everyone seemed to blame him
adam booths offer to negotiate everything on the TV kind of makes me think haye may not have been blowing all the hot air
the klits get everything their own way in all other fight negotiations, why is it hard to believe that they wanted it all their own way when talking to hayemaker?

Must admit I liked Booths idea of doing all negotiations in public. That would have answered a lot of question. BUT Boente wanted none of it.

haye will definately get through at least a couple of times and with wlad, thats all it can take

A valid and as yet unthought of question was posted on page 1.
Why ARENT Wlad and Vitali each other's mandatories? I've never even thought of that.
-
Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
If the fight does happen and if Wlad does beat Haye, Haye's countrymen will come up with every excuse in the book and how Wlad cheated. Fact.
See the Hatton/Mayweather and Hatton/Pacquiao fights. They couldn't even accept that the better fighter and talent won. It was every excuse in the book used. So I expect the same thing here.

Because (all due respect) its a dumb fucking idea. They won't fight each other and everyone that wants that fight is a complete fucking moron. Never has this been asked of ANY other boxing family....its fucking stupid, stop bringing it up.

THe K offered him 2 times, he signed 2 times and backed off under shady excuses, he even refused a 50-50 offer for a long time stating he was the one bringing the dough on the table and now he comes im trumpeting that the K have no excuses to refuse the 50-50 when HE was the one refusing it the first time? A bit hard to believe the guy one second, really.
-
Re: Adam Booth Says Wlad is refusing to sign a 50/50 split fight with Haye.
I highly doubt Wlad is the one refusing a 50/50 split when that's what he apparently offered last time. There's so much bullshit surrounding this fight I won't believe anything until the contracts are signed and its all been announced. I'm not sure how much Haye wants it tbh, but he doesn't seem to have anywhere else to go without looking like a complete dick - again. He'll lose any remaining credibility if he passes on the K's and takes on another inferior opponent.

I disagree with that. All that was said about the Mayweather fight was that Cortez was a disgrace and Mayweather got away with an awful lot of fouls - use of the forearm, ducking below the waist etc...
Hardly anybody believed the result would have been any different had Hatton have been given a fairer shake anyway.
As for the Hatton - Pacquiao fight, i again fail to see where you are coming from. Most people seems to be in agreement that Hatton's gameplan, or lack of one, was a one of the many factors of his downfall. Don't remember many thinking Pacquiao cheated.
I think you have made the mistake of thinking all Brits unconditionally love all British fighters. As a Brit i would take great pleasure in seeing David Haye put on his arse.

I shouldn't have said all Brits, because there are great posters here such as Skel and even Hattonthehomo along with a few others, but the excuse used by many of Hatton's countrymen are that Joe Cortez was the reason why Hatton lost and Mayweather "cheated" along with using elbows or something like that. Then the Hatton/Pacquiao fight was that Pacquiao "cheated" by weight draining Hatton, although the fight wasn't a catchweight but at the 140 pound limit where Hatton was king, then the excuse it was Pacquiao was on drugs.
Excuses, excuses, and excuses.
-

Eric backing a British fighter whatever next?
Seems like Wlad has till Jan 11th or he has to fight Chisora s about time he accepted and got it on, he will destroy Haye I am sorry to say, I hope Haye does the biz but I cant see it at all. Wladtko 6/7 th round maybe earlier.

Excuses, excuses, and excuses.
Well to be honest the fans of the WBA title holder already have a list of excuses when it comes to Wladimir and oddly enough if they are really that bothered by Wlad holding (which he really hasn't done all that much of since the first Sam Peter fight) then Joe Cortez would be the referee they would want in the ring as the main argument with him in the Hatton-Mayweather fight wasn't that he allowed Floyd to use his elbows (that's revisionist history from ono and furthermore it should be expected from the style Floyd uses, meaning Hatton should have trained for it) it was that Cortez broke up the clinches too quickly and Hatton never got to maul Floyd like he mauled Kostya Tszyu.
That being said who would you guys be satisfied with as ref of this fight (should it actually happen this time)?
