I am sure it will be signed and they will fight in August.
Last I heard the Saudi wanted a portion of the PPV to recoup some of their money back and Fury had not agreed to this.
https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/8...vs-tyson-fury/
That can't be true. Fury doesn't care about the money.
Funny old game aint it. When Joshua/Hearn wanted to see proof of funds for Wilders 100 gazillion dollar offer they were laughed at.
Who knows. I'm tempted to think Fury does care about the money after all. And caring less about this saga now and the promoters involved.
I'm hoping this is Fury's way of still wanting to play mind games with Aj: Will I or won't I.
Turning down this fight IMO is like a player on blackjack with a 20, claiming they might want to pull another card. For what? doesn't get much better than where Tyson is now.
Is there any reason to think he won't get paid? Has he been stiffed before?
Yawn.
Saudi it is then if it happens - I'm not even sure if full stadiums are allowed in UK by August anyway ?
Fury has shown much better performances outside of the UK, so from that respect he has one over Joshua who seems to perform better at home in UK
It’s good for business

Seeing is believing. In a way it's gotten to the point where this much string along and play to media BS has turned fans off. Put em in a room, take their phones lock the door piping in chanting Monks until signed ;D. Compare the collective time we spend talking just making 'mega fights' to that of actual results. Hamsters to the wheel. This should be in the UK hands down.
Anthony Joshua has message to Tyson Fury printed on t-shirt as talks continue
Anthony Joshua has sent a clear message to heavyweight rival Tyson Fury as talks continue to rumble on for their world title unification bout
Anthony Joshua seems to be tired of waiting for his fight against Tyson Fury to be finalised.
Boxing fans are waiting for Joshua vs Fury to be confirmed, and have spent months longing for news.
It seems the two heavyweight champions will meet in Saudi Arabia on August 14th, but there is still no official confirmation.
Last week, Joshua broke his silence by seemingly calling on Fury to sign his end of the deal, writing to Fury on Twitter : “Spartan.” I’m tired. My fans are tired. Your fans are tired. We’re all tired of the talk. Less talk. More action!"
And now, Joshua has doubled down on that message by getting it printed on a shirt.
Footage emerged on social media on Friday showing Joshua whipping off a jacket to reveal a t-shirt with the words "Less Talk More Action" printed on the front.
Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, believes an announcement will come soon and vowed fans will see a different side of 'AJ' in the build-up.
He revealed to Sky Sports that he expects Joshua to enjoy himself before the fight before going in and "demolishing" Fury.
Hearn said: "You will get a different AJ in this build-up. He's excited because he's never really, apart from the Dillian Whyte fight, been in a trash-talk environment. He will enjoy it.
"AJ has got the bit between his teeth, goading him a bit. I'm sure these two DM each other, goading each other. I get DMs from Fury - sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant!"
Hearn added: "AJ will go to war with Fury. He has plans to absolutely demolish him. That's what I believe he will do.
"In the meantime we will go through the build-up, which will be a lot of fun, before the biggest event of 2021."

Fury has come back from a period of inactivity against wilder. So against Joshua he may feel his way into fight over the first 4-5 rounds
24 hours later it all changes. Fury should just settle it with Wilder. Play at x1.5 speed or 1.25

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua off as Deontay Wilder trilogy ordered

just watched the wilder video where hes accusing fury of cheating on the link above
has he got a point? it really doesnt look like his hand is in his glove when hes throwing that punch
This was answered way back by Fury and Wilder was making all kind of excuses from heavy amour he was wearing coming into the ring to his drink being spiked.

Wilder is reportedly asking for £14 Million/$19 Million to step aside
and Hearn is speaking with Usyks team about a last minute Usyk v Joshua fight.
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes this morning was several texts on my phone from different people around the world stating the same fact: Fury versus AJ is off. It is off,' Krassyuk told Express Sport on Tuesday morning.
'Regarding Usyk, it depends. I will speak to Eddie (Hearn) in one hour, we have already exchanged texts this morning.
'It looks like we have a fight to make. We have agreed to speak in one hour when things will become clearer.'
The prospect of a fight between Usyk and Joshua was an initial hurdle for Hearn, Arum and Frank Warren to overcome, with the former undisputed cruiserweight champion defeating Dereck Chisora via unanimous decision in October last year.
But with both parties pushing towards the undisputed showdown, the governing bodies ordered a WBO interim clash between Usyk and Joe Joyce, a fight Krassyuk says would no longer make sense if the Fury fight is off.
Think we might see Fury v Wilder 3 before the AJ fight.
“We’re not paying Wilder to step aside,” Arum told ESPN on Monday.
“It’s better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December.”
Arum noted that Top Rank has reserved Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for Fury vs Wilder III on July 24.

14 million is a relatively low ball offer that could be accepted by all parties interested in the Saudi fight.
Fury could do with another fight, so beating Wilder down in summer would set him up well for Joshua in Winter 2021.
Our sport, as is often the case, is messed about by egocentric promoters playing games. The fighter wanting to fight has nothing to do with it. Sport takes the back of the line to business. The we have the idiot that Fury beat up insisting that he should be front of the line...for another beating? The sport has long been strangled by different bodies with dubious champoions. With Fury , Joshua there is a genuine chance to make general sport fans believe that boxing is for real with true champions. Yes I am a boring old fart but boxing with one champion per weight was better, meant something and was a true measure of a champion. It is incredible that we have a truly beaten fighter potentially stopping a real title fight....talk about Bum Squad.
Yep.
Both AJ and Fury are relatively young by heavyweight standards... and no reason why their fight can't still be made down the line assuming Fury dispatches Wilder again, and AJ doesn't stumble while looking ahead to Fury.
TBH, I along with half the Western Hemisphere were pretty tired of the usual, predictable pre-fight soap opera... so maybe it's not a bad thing that Wilder has stepped in and thrown a monkey wrench into the proceedings.
At least someone's bound to fight, hopefully soon.
Honestly little interest in a Wilder-Fury thrice and not convinced Usyk doesn't box AJs ears off :-X. That's a great fight. Once again we got over our skis in the build up reality tv skit of boxing and promoters knew it was on shaky ice.

Now we hear that 'Bum Squad' wants 20 million to step aside for Fury to fight Joshua. He is not worth 20 dollars. He has been beaten twice, the last time literally beaten up. He has zero chance against Fury. The game has been severely messed up by Egocentric promoters who really think that the fans care what they wear on Youtube and too many titles. Joshua ,Fury is a real chance for sports fans to see that boxing is for real. What other sport has to put up with "He's the champion of the world, or it could be him,,,wait a minute what about him and then again there's...." Veary dreary for our great sport.

Joshua is scared of the BIG fight-Wilder and now Fury. That much is clear now.
So fury is fighting wilder in July now it seems, contracts signed.... I'm surprised they couldn't agree to get wilder out the way, fury should win pretty easy but there's a small chance of wilder landing something lucky and fury not getting up in time :S
Maybe we'll get wilder v usyk for all four belts later in the year.
If I was Joshua, I’d be pretty pissed off with the Fury mob.
He has done nothing wrong, and had to listen to Fury and his team shouting their mouths off in the press to make the fight. Then listening to them say it’s not happening, then listen to them saying it is happening and trash talking him .... while all the time they knew Wilder had a cast iron third fight contract signed and legally in place.
”No matter what people say, no matter what the excuse and explanation .... whatever someone does in the end is what they intended to do all along” - Cus D’Amato
You can't help but wonder that it's written in the stars that wilder lands and sparks Fury.
There's a part of me now wants them both to get sparked and miss out on the huge pay day.
