O'Shaquie Foster v Abraham Nova ESPN

Kicks off Friday night on 'regular' ESPN and presumably before Midnight ;D. Second defense for Foster of the 130 belt he took from Rey Vargas last year. Nova 23-1 was brought crashing down to earth in 2022 being stopped in a 125 title attempt v Robeisy Ramirez but has since rebounded with two wins. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out style wise as both have some reach on them.
Bryan Chevalier 20-1-1 v Andres Cortes 20-0 Spr. Feathers in co-main. And one of the brightest prospects, Bruce Shu Shu Carrington maintains the activity v
Bernard Angelo Torres 18-1. Fifth fight for Carrington within a year's time!

Carrington a bit stationery and Torres letting hands go. Close round really. Right hand at bell may have nabbed it Shu Shu.

Re: O'Shaquie Foster v Abraham Nova ESPN

Good 2nd. Both had a few spots. Carrington getting timing down now but also waiting for the perfect shot, Torres here to make it a fight.

Re: O'Shaquie Foster v Abraham Nova ESPN

Think Torres felt that shot to the sternum. Starting to be walked back now but hands still moving. 2-1 Carrington

Good evening, guys. So far it seems Carrington's height and reach advantages are going to be too much for Torres.

:angryxo4: Just when I was thinking he needs to tighten up defense he drops Torres face first and fini! Brutal short right hand ends it.

Torres was game, but Carrington was just too big... too powerful. Torres landed some good shots during the fight, but they didn't seem to have the effect that Carrington's own shots did. KOTY candidate.

Just loved the instinct on the right until it hit pay dirt. Went straight right to right upper hook then turned it over with snapping short right hook.

Right? I've seen a lot of left hook KO's (by righties). Or single right hands. Or combinations. But I think it's the first time I've seen three right hands thrown in a row and in different forms... the last ending in a knockout.
The kid has a good arsenal.

Sounding like a geezer maybe but he did it clean too ;D. Not getting all puffed up dropping f and B bombs. Carries some of that calm confidence for so early on.

Never realized Chevalier was so gangly. He's literally blowing in the wind between missing and getting clocked in return. Cortes beating him up in 3rd

Don't remember Nova getting stick for the beard before but makes sense. He tightened it up all's well. Who was the fighter they made trim his beard mid fight? Lamont Peterson ? or may have been cutting the hair.
