Whitaker is on the wrong end of a few decisions.
Ramirez, Chavez, De La Hoya...he won all of those imo. Of course, I am a bit biased as he is my favorite fighter of all time.

Sweet Pea is one of my fav's also . I honestly can't remember the rounds of those fights except for PW -vs. Chavez , I was at ringside , It was a complete travesty in boxing. Whitaker kicked his country ass from pillar to post ! Peat was a complete boxer, he would circle his opponent and get angles like a mofo !Quote:

When Jeff stepped into the auditorium that night, he was beat by the crowd in that hostile environment....
Then the 12 rounds of total ass whoopin he recieved was enough to cap it off...
Here is my thought on that fight...
When you are a fighter that is 25-0 going up against a guy that has a 41-0 record, take a closer look at that record and ask yourself if you are really ready to step into the ring with that....
Jeff needed like 10 more fights before he got in there with a madman like Calzaghe...
Good Luck,
Coach
Here's a hometown decision most don't remember:
Francisco Lorenzo vs Juan Diaz. He should have been the first man to beat Diaz, but the judges robbed him. Lorenzo was also robbed against Courtney Burton, fortuneatly last time out judges did the right thing and gave him the win against Nate Campell though. I hope Lorenzo gets a title shot or big fight someday, sucker can throw 100 punches a round every round.
Pernell Whitaker vs Julio Cesar Chavez
Pernell Whitaker vs Ramirez 1
Lennox Lewis vs Holyfield 1
Larry Holmes vs Michael Spinks 2
Anthony Bosante vs Jesse Brinkley
Fenech v Nelson 1...
Altho Nelson destroyed jeff in the second fight. No way the first was a draw fenech should have won by atleast 4 rounds.
Never seen that one heard it was controversial though.Quote:

I would say that Whitaker-Chavez should go down as being the worst of the two, because at least Lewis got the chance to fight a rematch and get his victory. Chavez wanted no part of a rematch.
Dont know but I bet he never left the USA after that did Whitaker and wouldnt blame him.
