Re: How Would Ali Have Done In 90s
What has Tyson ever done to make some of you think he could beat Ali?! No question in the early part of his career he was a physical beast...but who did he fight? The great fighters he eventually faced, even though he was past his "prime", dismantled him with ease. The man was a head case. Would it have been an easy fight for Ali...probably not. But Ali was on a completely different level. It's amazing this discussion is even being had. Tyson enthralled us all with his athleticism...but he was never a great boxer...maybe he would have been if he wasn't a troubled person who lost his way. We will never know. But Ali was a tremendous athlete, iron chinned, incredibly smart, and had tremendous stamina....and he was afraid of no one.
Re: How Would Ali Have Done In 90s

Tell me one thing; why on earth should boxing be The very only thing where time, development and evo should not matters?
Ali would lose big time to a guy like Sasha and even Denise B. Ali was a small HW and would be like very undersized now and would be slow and very limited skilled compared to todays boxers. Just nature even you like Ali.

Ali wern't that small 6 foot 3 220s and how would being in fat crap division like now make Ali slower ?? in fact it would make Ali look much much faster because all hws today are slow as shite fact.

Okay, you are right. Ali would have easily defeated Valuev or Wlad. In boxing time is not clicking....
Re: How Would Ali Have Done In 90s
I think tyson, lewis nd holyfeild would have a chance to be him with lewis being the most likely as i think he would have a chance of outboxing ali nd also i think joe louis could of beat ali nd he would have gave marciano his first loss had the fight happened when he was in his prime. nd yes i do think ali would stop wlad in 6 but im not sure if he could stop valuev but he would definately outpoint him with ease

I will assume you are either joking or simply trying to get a rise out of people. For the record...today's heavyweights are an embarrassment to the division...probably one of the weakest era's for what is usually boxings glamour weight class.

Joe Louis wouldn't beat Ali he was flatfooted and was being easily outboxed by Billy Conn because of his movement same reason why Ali would beat him.
Re: How Would Ali Have Done In 90s
So in summary, no one from the 90's has a hope nor prayer. Anyone that thinks otherwise is wrong?
Bit of a waste of ten pages this wasnt it?

Memphis i didn't say they wouldn't have chance i said reasons why Ali could win doesn't mean he would win in boxing there is no way of saying 100 percent he would win of course not Lewis has chance so do couple of others but all im doing is reason's why Ali could win.
