pac took it easy on solis til pac got cut due to headbutt, after that the beast inside pacman was release.

You are 100% correct. Moreso since back in the PI, he is a celebrity, and everyone wants a piece of the pie (i.e. the almighty dollar). I've lived in PI and currently snow-bird there (and no I'm not that old only 44). But anyone of celebrity status is always being hounded for a hand-out. Plus many celebrity, both actors and sports figures seem to end up in the political arena there.

I feel Manny needs to figure out what is best for him, and again my own opinion, that he should have gotten a deal with Barerra(sp). He beat him once, he could do it again, get the belt from him and then retire and do what his heart desires. But I also say that he will do what he wants and feels is correct! My family stands behind him at any rate.

I'd have to disagree...& so would Pac. As he said...the guy had a long reach & was awkward & caught him with some good shots.

Pac took some time getting back to being Pac. Not being a good judge is being a blind fan...& that's something that I refuse to be...no matter who the fighter is.

Period.

Everyone in the Philippines are wondering if this winning will afftect him in running for congress in his hometown. Some of the people here wanted him to win the election but most of the people wanted him to lose so he could just concentrate on boxing and being one of the most respected sportman to represent the country. Politics will just destroy him... his concentration on next fights and his reputation...

I was surfing the web and different message boards and all of them gave Manny the score per round. It was clear that he dominated the fight since first round. You know...I aint even from the Philips & I could imagine that the minute he started barking about running for congress that it broke some of his fellow countrymen's hearts...it would mine.

Politics is an ugly game...more corrupt than boxing ever could be...believe that or not...& there's no glory of comparison between the two.

That being said...Pac is probably running on good intentions...naively though...& he will most likely get used...you know he will...& that's a shame to have a career so bright get shot down over him being a chess piece/pawn for vote grabbing.

Good evening to you to...but again...in the future...don't tell established members to fwock off...there's nothing civil about that & there are generally a whooooooooooooooooooole mess of people reading these RBR's...not everyone likes to hear that kind of trash.

Pac's a human being...not a God or Supreme Being...& wev'e all seen what a distraction can do to the man...when he comes in unfocused...he falters. The past has shown his loss of focus causes severe set backs. When recognition got the best of him...it really got the best of him. He got knocked out by Singsurat, beaten by Morales, & to Torrecampo by losing to him by TKO.

When he came into that bout he was already overweight...so technically...unfocused again on the goal at hand. Everyone can slip up...even back then he was totally concentrating on boxing...now...he's not...so let's try to keep everything real & on the up & up.

Again...he's human...he's already proven that he can't do all of the above.

I'm trying to get all these little odds & ends worked out for the "Match heard/read Round the World" ;D!

I've been trying to acquire that voice activated typing software for my laptop so that I can shoot photo's & talk out the DRBR while sitting ringside during the match.

Not sure how my hands are gonna be able to run both the new digi-cam & either the laptop or a pen.

Thanks for the round by round Wacko!!! Yup I hope PAC loses in the elections so he can just focus on boxing.

Honestly...Mijar's got a new fan. I was damned impressed in the man. That bwoyz accurate with his shots & there were times that he appeared to just have Arce on the end of a string.

Good match for the man...people are already saying that Arce just took him lightly...that's not the case.

Saying that detracts from Mijar's win. He just beat him...hands down & skill for skill. I also am impressed with the man's ability to take a shot. Arce can crack & taht gent took everything that Arce had.

I'm impressed...I hate it that it had to be against Arce...but what's done is done...still shocked my guy lost though.

But then again...you'll have that S*** from time to time. ;D
