Not impressed with either of the Olympians, i think they show the same flaws. And we haven't learnt anything new about them.
Bullshit 'favoring the favorite' type stoppage.Supposed to be a showcase for Gamboa...just think it showcased his flaws in a major way.
Are they lining up Cristobal Cruz for him?
If only that little string on her bikini top would break.....holy jumble jubbly's......Nice avatar VD.
Gamboa is fun to watch though you have to admit, how he carries himself in the ring it's great. He has a Mike Tyson type swagger imo. I think he's going to be in some real great fights not sure he's a world beater yet though.
I do kind of like the fact that my previous post got edited for content cause it makes me look about as drunk as I am at the moment
Glad the FNF's are off and running, good fight night mix ;D.Most action in two weeks
I tell you Odlanier Solis needs to drop MAJOR weight....259 is waaaaaaay too big for him.
If Solis was 230 or even 240 he would look a ton better.
I have heard a few people compare Gamboa to Tyson, I think he looks a bit like tyson and has the swagger outside the ring like tyson and the power but Tyson didnt show boat in the ring and always kept his hands up. Tyson had a pretty tight guard/defense...
Dam, my computer locked up after that first four rounder, I still caught it on TV. Erislandy Lara looked great IMO, for being only his 3rd pro fight he knew when to press the gas and when to tap the brake, got caught with a few shots, but I think he has a bright future. Solis's low workrate is gonna cost him in the future, I gave Burnett a few more rounds than Atlas because of workrate, the stoppage in that fight however was good Burnett clearly had no legs and was a fly fart away from being knocked on his ass. In the main even Gonzalez although ineffective for 9 of the 10 rounds, did give a bit of a roadmap to Gamboa's weaknesses and hence a path to victory over him. Good way to start off the season though, I am so happy to have live boxing back.
