Will a poster who voted AA to take this explain their reasoning?

I like AA. He punched harder than anyone else at middleweight. However, he starts slow and takes rounds off. Can he do that at 168?

I'm going with Dirrell, although I'm in the camp that thinks a wrench in the works will stop the whole tournament from going through.


Whatever happened to the lightweight tourney? Is there going to be a second round?

I think I'll roll with Mikkel Kessler (and Jermaine Taylor) since he is a viking warrior and I am a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.

Im not saying Kessler is god but I am yet to see proof that he isn't!

I'm thinking Fen Fen and Kil' Sheep are correct in thinking things will go awry.

Someone gets hurt and they are forced to bring in Cory Spinks are some other absurd substitue.

Maybe someone kicks ass in there first bout and then decides to fake an injury until the contest is over?

The Calzaghe fight is quite strong proof that he isn't! ;D

Not as much power as god. I don't think he has the Longevity to match god either. He's been going for ages.

Ok like alot of people I have Kess as the favorite!
I think Froch might finish last, yeah he beat Taylor but I'd still
fancy Taylor in the rematch.
AA is a solid fighter who has a great chance, Taylor if he gets the finger out
I feel could cause a few upsets...
as for Ward and Dirrell, this is there chance to boom onto the world scene,
Dirrell I'd pick over Froch but think Ward will lose his first v Kessler.
Alot of good fights to look forward to though!!

Kessler beats Abraham in the final, if we ever make it to a final. I'm pretty sure Kessler has a mandatory lined up before the tournament starts so he should be good to go against Ward. I think Ward and Dirrel are the dark horses, maybe one of them wins it and we have a new star.

If this is true then we boxing fans could literally ask for nothing more. I think if they were unwilling to compete in the tournament then they aren't worth crying over. Where's Lucian Bute or Allan Green? Well, who cares? Bute didn't want to commit so I can't shed a tear. And Allan Green? For real?

The first round matchups are great. I think Kessler, Ward or Dirrell.

Kessler. I would love to see a Taylor Froch rematch. In which I believe Taylor takes him. The two Andre's not enough expierence IMO. Arthur Abraham too small.

God may have the edge in those two areas. Ill give you that but Kessler has a better tattoo !!
