I agree,
I personally don't believe Pacquiao would use illegal substances. Which is why I have a hard time seeing a good reason for him to not take the tests. Hell I'd overcome a little fatigue and a drug screen for what will probably be a 40 million dollar pay day, who wouldn't?
why? i very much doubt pacquiao works out all his own nutrition, what to eat and what time along with any supplements he uses, after all he isnt the one with the degrees in sports biology or whatever ...
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
Could this at all be a bit of giving Floyd a taste of his own medicine?
Because Floyd of course doesn't have a track record of refusing demands of another camp then giving in at the last minute? He has done it how many times with purse splits, ring size, etc.....
Then after causing a shit load of stress and extra negotiations tiring the other camp out gives in just as the fight looks about to fall through....
Could this be happening to him now? We won't know until all is said and done but funny how everyone is ready to label Manny a cheater and user of steroids but Floyd using tactics like this on other aspects makes him a genius?
It really sickens me how people are ready to brand a man before all is said and done...It sickens me how it is ok for one fighter to do simular tactics but if another MIGHT be imploying the same tactics they are cheats and hiding something...
Truth is if Manny refused to wear blue gloves instead of red ones at Floyd request the same people who are talking all the shit about this would be talking the same shit about that..
If the roles were reversed the comments would be
"Why should Floyd submit to a test he is not taking anything we all know he is just a natural talent etc" or something along those lines..
Here is something to piss of the Floyd fans who seem to insist I am a Pacquiao nuthugger because I am defending the situation NOT THE FACT A FIGHTER WOULD BE TESTED FOR STEROIDS BY THE MOST CONCLUSIVE TEST THERE IS WHEN IN TRUTH EVERY FIGHTER AS I MENTIONED IN AN EARLIER POST WHO GOES MORE THEN 90 DAYS BETWEEN BOUTS SHOULD HAVE TO SUBMIT TO ANYWAY..
Maybe Floyd is requesting the test because he is a bit scared?
Afraid the little man might be on something and hurt poor pretty boy? The man who claims he can't be hurt...Can't be touched...Can't be beat because he is just that good....
Until he seen the destruction of Manny's last 3 opponents that is...Then he put 2 and 2 together realizing his plan to use Marquez as a measuring stick to see what Pacquiao has to offer him really did not pan out because Manny put a clinic on the man Floyd ducked as a WW in Miguel Cotto....
Shit if Pacquiao fought Paul Williams and beat him there is a chance Floyd would change his name and move to a remote Island in hopes of never being found
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
This whole thread is moot since Pacquaio has not officially spoken on the subject. It's all heresay from the Mayweather camp.

There has been no substantial evidence to prove he has used illegal substances. I DO want him to take the test.

Shit if Pacquiao fougfht Paul Williams and beat him there is a chance Floyd would change his name and move to a remote Island in hopes of never being found
there is a big difference here, messing other fighters around over ring size and purses doesnt harm anyones career directly
manny is refusing to take a test which would easilly prove his innocence, seems a bit odd to me
its like being accused of stealing and you firmly denying it but refusing to turn out your pockets..
and your comment about floyd being worried pacquaio is on something and may hurt him .... what do you expect, you say that as if floyd should just fight pac with his drugs otherwise he is afraid
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
@ElTerrible - A penalty for coming in over weight is to prevent Floyd using his weight to create an advantage over the smaller fighter which he just did last September...
The Roid issue is completely made up!
@Majesty - I have no double standard on my issues...But I will not compare apple and oranges... Would Mayweather come up with a penalty at PAC for coming in overweight?? No... Because Pac does not create advantages using his weight AFTER the weight is agreed upon... PBF will agree to a weight and then come in heavy...
The ROID issue is completely made up and has not basis of being even used against PAC.
@Killer - I really like your breakdown of the unrealistic terms of overall drug screening; however, my point is that Mayweather has no bearing on being the guy that starts this new drug screening process. This should be reviewed and drummed up by the sanctioning bodies... Not a fighters pre-fight stipulation without any evidence to even accuse PAC in the first place...
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
If floyd denied any of pac's requests, no matter how silly or how small. This would be a whole different issue. But since it's manny..........retarded.

If its so made up why does Manny refuse to prove it? His fans seem to have more faith in him on this then he does ;D

and a test is there to stop pac possibly using ped's to gain an advantage same thing
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
I am actually surprised at how many peeps on here believe manny is on drugs. You'd think a knowledgable crowd on this forum would have better sense. Obviously not.

refusing to have particular gloves, or a purse split is alot different to prove your a clean honest fighter.... most would jump at the chance to prove everyone wrong and then fuck floyd up after anyway ... why is manny refusing this oppurtunity

knowledgable ? your the one claiming pac only putting on 10lb proves he isnt on any performance enhancers... i notice you ignored my response to that post
are andre berto, paulie malinaggi and floyd sr so unknowledgable too ?
Re: Pacquiao-Mayweather in jeopardy...
I'm not Manny and so i can't speak for him on why he refuses...
But seeing how Floyd operates, there could be a precident here on not catering to Floyds rediculous demands... Pac has no history of such an accusation, so there was no reason to accuse him in the first place... Grasping for straws, and then making him prove a made up accusation is completely disrespectful...

On what grounds!!
"Possibly" indicates a reasonable doubt that he is clean..There is no reasonable doubt.. Sorry he dominated his opponents his last four fights... He must be cheating!!
Re: Latest Report, Pac-man Mayweather called off
Oh it was all good when pac team wanted to come up with all these silly requests. And floyd agreed to them all including blood tests. But now all of the sudden the world is such an understanding place full of soft hearts. Funniest of all is pac wouldn't have won anyway. I say let em fight anyway. The outcome is always the same.
