TRIPLE B
The man was closer to a 'Scum-Bag' than a Humanitarian.
He is not a person to look up to. For those who do, they have little self-esteem.
Yes, you can appreciate his boxing talents and achievements inside the Boxing Ring.
But, was he really a special individual outside the Ring.
I think not. He was just another Celebrity looking for publicity.

I think THAT's the nail on the head, he was nothing special, he happened to be born with good looks, and took advantage of that like anyone else would, hell, like I did, too bwAAAAHAHAHAHA

You are the only one with low self esteem Bill. After all these years holding a grudge this long makes you very shallow.

Hang in there Bill, I'm shallower than you and Brock is the shallowest guy I've ever seen. He could probably take a bath in a a teacup! :)

Bill doesnt have low self-esteem, its not equal to tell him that just because he harps on Ali. Focusing on a certain topic or even obsessing on a topic is not an indication of low self-esteem. People obsess on lots of things for various reasons/combinations of reasons. Low self-esteem could be one, or it could have nothing to do with it.

Ah, it was no big deal, Ali never meant to hurt anyone. It was just one black man trying to help out another black man.
I really have a lot of respect for Ali, he was a good man through and through. You can tell he was a very respectful person from the way he spoke about other black fighters! Right?
You are what you say, and I have a lot of disrespect for Muhammad Ali. ;)
Re: August 26, 1975 ~ 'Press Conference' ~ Ali Tries To Make Gorilla Out Of Joe Frazi
He thought it was cool to keep changing what he said from one year to another. And nobody would remember his track record. You cant say the white man is the devil in '66, then say some white men are the devil in '69, then say you were wrong and that there are red devils, green devils, black devils, etc., in '71, then say you champion black rights in then turn around aND CALL fellow blacks monkeys, gorillas, ignorant, uneducated, backwards, Uncle Tom, etc., from year to year HE KEPT GETTING IT WRONG, yet the following year he would get something else wrong, showing no remorse, and expecting people to keep kissing his ass, expecting people to forgive each and every one of his insults, remarks, etc.
now he is old, sick and mute, and if it werent for that, he might get alot less sympathy

I'm sure all this hate keeps Ali up at night.

Mean cruelty.
This coming from a "highly religious" man who "really supported his people".
I guess berating poor Joe for years like this was "supporting" his people.
Disgusting show of willful and persistent cruelty to a decent, humble ATG Joe Frazier.
Karma is a bitch, huh?
The thing with Ali was that he wasn't too bright & he got over excited too easily; he was virtually like a child when he was in pre-fight mode.
He said some terrible things to Smokin' Joe, but I don't believe the meant those things truly.
Deep down, Ali had great respect for Joe because he knew that Joe was always going to give him a hard time.
