Re: Shorter 15 Week Boxing Challenge
I'm a fan of Japanese boxing (watch all the big fights) but some of these fighters are new to me. I quite like the look of that WBO Minimumweight fight. I'd take a chance on the Filipino at 14/1 if I could watch it. Shame.
Naoya Inoue - KO
Javier Mendoza - PTS
Takuma Inoue - PTS
Kazuto Ioka - PTS
Katsunari Takayama - PTS
Takahiro Yamamoto - KO
Kosei Tanaka - PTS
Takashi Uchiyama - KO
Ryoichi Taguchi - KO

Week 7
Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016
Germany
Vincent Feigenbutz(9) vs. Giovanni De Carolis(11)
12 rounds – Super middleweight division
Spain
Evgeny Gradovich ( 8 ) vs. Jesus Galicia(12)
10 rounds – Featherweight division
Note. Under normal circumstances I would not include this apparent mismatch but Grado is scheduled to fight Donaire at 122 in a title shot 3 months later. Grado is a rather large featherweight so one would have assumed he would take a similar opponent as Jesus but at 122. I’m expecting they will announce some kind of weight agreement that was made on the way to the ring. Even so, Gradovich will is dropping a full class forcing him to almost forgo proper rehydration for the above fight.
Friday, Jan. 15, 2016

Pungluang Sor Singyu (9) vs. Jetro Pabustan(11)
12 rounds – Bantamweight division (for Sor Singyu’s WBO title)

12 rounds – Heavyweight division (for Wilder’s WBC title)
Charles Martin(11) vs. Vyacheslav Glazkov (9)
12 rounds – Heavyweight division (for IBF title)-All things considered the Ibf has reduced their title to less than paper.
London
David Haye(9) vs. Mark de Mori(11)
12 rounds – Heavyweight division
Dallas (UniMas)
Erick De Leon(9) vs. Fidel Navarrete(11)
8 rounds – Junior lightweight division
