Germany looks great very, very solid as a team.
Rooney did not turn up for the world cup.
My exact words that were shared between myself, the TV (and possibly the neighbours considering how loud they were) were:
"Heskey! F***ing Heskey?!?! Are you f***ing sh**ing me Fabio?"
If you make the choice to leave the goalscorers on the bench and back in England how do you expect to get back from trailing in a match?
England were unlucky with the the goal that never was, but Germany deserved to go through anyway. Better team won it.
Try again in 2014 England. ;D
England were poor, very poor. I am trying not to swear.
I feel like I could smash Big H BMW
Unlucky for Mexico.
Tevez's goal was offside, and the second came from a total melt down by Osorio. The Argies are looking good though, starting to get into the groove.
One of the goals of the tournament from Tevez.
3-0 to Argentina.
have shed tears before in world cups and euro championships but this one has just left me angry
give me heart give me passion , anything but that. Overpaid prima donna cunts. Championship players would have worn their heart om their sleevs. Those twats will relaxon their 100k a week salaries.
Where were they ? We need an english manager and some of those guys shouldnt be allowed to wear that shirt again. Time to limit foreigners in premiership also.
However I will also say that any team that loses a two goal lead is psychologically deflated and the lack of goal line technology denied us a chance to make that count - and it could have been massive
The trouble is BBC, Bibs Bobs and Cones
Cunting, fuck, shit, wankers!
That is all.
I think FIFA turns off prospective fans with their dictatorial attitudes. There've been SO MANY missed calls in the World Cup it's pathetic. England's disallowed goal against Germany was horrible. Argentina's allowed (and clearly offsides) goal against Mexico was even worse. The U.S. was robbed a couple of times in previous games.
And yet FIFA is quoted as saying they will not comment on the ref's bad calls, nor will they pursue goal-line replay technology in the future. Fukk them!!! Who the hell do they think they are? It's that kind of attitude that will continue to turn off potential fans, especially in the U.S.
I think Gary Lineker has the best idea on tv last night he said, follow the tennis rule where you get three replays each team throughout a game to challenge any call in the game. People say this will disturb the flow of the game etc etc, well what about all the cheating bastards that do this in every fucking game diving to the floor like they have just been shot multiple times by an AK47?? Then we have a 5 minute delay while the fake injury is seen to by the physio.
Best idea yet for me...
Terrible result for England. Our defence was absolutely shocking. Lampard clearly scored a goal and that might well have changed the momentum, but it wasn't given and what happened did indeed happen. I wasn't all that sad after the game because of what had gone on in the 3 games prior. This was a team that had shown little in the way of heart or desire and so when they eventually went out, how bad could you feel? I felt let down and pissed off more than anything else. If the team had put up a valiant performance and gone down with the game going right to the edge then I would have been sad, but as things stood, I was over it within minutes. Those players are ridiculously overpaid and so is the manager. Rooney looked and played like a 40 year old. Quite awful.
In the jungle, South African jungle
Three lions sleep tonight
Cos in the morning, the early morning
They have to catch a flight
A win no way, a win no way
A win no way, a win no way
Brazil are looking pretty hot now, reckon they'll take the Netherlands and waltz on.
I have Brazil in the sweep..........nice.
I really enjoyed watching portugal go out
ronaldo was non existant in that game;D
Spain were superb against Portugal.
Torres is unfit, he's coming off his second knee surgery this year and he's just not himself right now. He did make a couple decent plays and had one solid strike at goal.
I loved seeing Ronaldo and Roonaldo have shitty World Cups. Rooney was just horrible.
Today has been a real return to normality at work. With no football on at all, the female contingent took over and shoehorned some soaps onto the telly all night. Roll on Friday, can't wait for the quarters.
David Blane is extremely upset that his record has been broken of doing nothing in a box by Wayne Rooney.
Brazil-Netherland Germany-Argentina, that's getting really damn serious, I would marvel for a final Germany-Netherland.
Holland
Uruguay
Germany
Spain
Ka-ching!!!
What a finish by Robinho, 1-0 to Brazil. Felipe Melo with an exquisite through ball in the lead up to it. That is the kind of vision and movement that sets Brazil apart!
Sometimes it amazes me how effective Robben is, he only does ONE fucking thing. Let's see what Robben's going to do this time, oh yeah he's going to cut in on his left foot and try to shoot. The most predictable player ever.
What was Roben doing marking Robinho in the first place?
LOL at Robben.
And they scored, somehow.
I don't want Brazil to win this. Come on Holland!
Haha, get in there! Bye, bye Brazil!
Brazil are collapsing. Red card now, right old nasty leap onto the thigh.
f*cking brilliant
at the start of the tournament i got 80/1 on a germany-netherlands final (one of the many bets i put on pre tournament) and only put on £2.50 :mad::mad:
gonna enjoy laughing at the silly c*nts who walk around in brazil tops
It annoys me when Brazil are always favorites, so I find it funny to see them go out. They are always better than England, but like England they always fall short. You get teams like Germany and Italy that win it more in recent years. Hopefully none of them win it this year. Only Germany left really.
