My pre Election message to anyone left who gives a toss, please vote tomorrow if you are a citizen of the UK and have the right to do so.
I see Russell Brand has had some kind of trephining done. So the revolution is to.....vote for the party that still has Tony Blair. Sorry Brand, but you do not endorse an unrepentant beast. It is good cop bad cop and Labour is more austerity and no nationalisation of key services etc. A vote for Labour is a vote of forgiveness or amnesia. I wonder if he was put under some kind of pressure or just lacks conviction.
Just a few more hours for Cameron to avoid calling someone a peasant or 'coloured'. Bugger.
Fuck the banks, fuck the Tories, fuck Shell and BP, fuck the frackers, fuck the hedge funders, fuck David Cameron, fuck Tony Blair, fuck anyone that votes Tory, fuck tuition fees, fuck the banks again, fuck Nick Clegg, fuck the cover ups, fuck the wars, fuck privatisation, fuck quantitative easing for the super rich, fuck the entire rotten piece of shit system.
Rise up Scotland and may you show a soul dead nation the light. Amen.
Because I have a voice and I can say what I like. Any particular fuck that you object to? I forgot the Queen and the mutant scroungers, fuck them too. And the Bank of England and the City of London. Those are most of the scourges. I dont think there is any reason for decorum in denouncing these kinds of entities and tbe last thing people should do is vote for a bunch of war criminal, masonistic, private school bumboys.
Miles has a voice so should have his say. Just because he cant vote doesn't mean he should sit in silence.
Should a disabled sprinter sit at home in his adapted bungalow just because he'll never beat Usain Bolt? Of course not.
Also, you can argue that people around the world dont have a vote, but they are still having their resources stolen by lobbyist multinationational corporations. Should everyone who doesnt vote just be quiet? The vote is an overhyped irrelevance in an age of corporate and banking hegemony. They tell you it matters to perpetuate the system. It has no legitimacy. David Cameron is in essence a dictator. It doesnt matter Labour or Tory. Milliband has no clout beyond a minimal energy freeze. A vote would matter if there were revolutionary human policies that had a chance. Instead it is a bunch of reactionary tripe to appeal to the selfish. Nationalisation of utilities and banks! Banks should not control money supply! Never. The people are hostages held ransom by financial terrorists that peddle debt and gorge. It is grotesque. Labour schmabor, they united against Scotland, they still want to enslave students, they still accept war criminals, they are the same old establishment. If not, then why is it all the same?
Its a sick caricature and is now a bloated heaving whale on a shore. The Scots are the heroes, rising up as a people, land reform and no looking back. Shame on Miliband for saying no to revolution and change. He is the status quo. We got Blair last time out, that should never be forgotten. The corporations will yank him their way. He should be rid of them in one fell swoop. But that is the catch. All the pension funds are in stealing other peoples resources and the banks know you would never have the balls for real revolution. Just more theft and hush hush media and a perpetual ponzi scheme. It is sick and thus pms move on and work for banks and tyrants. After all, that is all they ever did.
Some reports from Annan that some SNP supporters (described as 'Burly men') are not allowing non-SNP voters to enter.
I have to say that some SNP supporters have let themselves down this last week in various incidents.
In Darlington 'one or more' candidates has been left off the ballot paper.
That's fucked then.
The final final final poll just released (not including the exit polls and the actual poll) has Labour narrowing the gap.
Forget your poll of polls etc the best indicator is from https://twitter.com/Election4castUK
or electionforecast.co.uk
They take all the polls, plus census data, plus historical data and combine it all.
Not another pole

Looks American to me.
I'd prefer that the Jocks remain part of Britain but with $50 oil there's no way they can afford to pay for all that welfare and Buckfast if they go independent. Not to mention they can't possibly credibly backstop their big financial institutions.
With $50 oil the SNP are like a bunch of demented six form socialists, just insisting that things have to be a certain way when they very obviously can't. I can only see this secession situation getting worse and causing major problems, the biggest being how to let the fuckers back in the union when the English electorate will be absolutely fucking dead against it.
The problem is, the rivalry between north and south is going to drive Scotland further away from the union, rather than bringing it back into the fold. The rabid hunting of Miliband to get him to confirm he won't talk to the SNP by the other major party pretty much tells the Scots that they aren't wanted, and if they do vote for the SNP then nobody wants to listen or treat with the people they elect. That's a shabby state of affairs, and if I was Scottish, that would make me much more likely to want independence.
SNP may win loads of seats and cost Labour the victory.
It doesn't matter who wins or who forms the next government. If it's Cameron we get massive budget cuts for the first two years followed by three years where they don't cut and the economy recovers from the first two years of cuts, basically a replay of what just happened over the last five years. The idiots who spent the last five years screaming about the deficit (caused by a recession caused by policies that they fully backed 1997-2008 ) will also give a tax cut mainly to wealthy people which obviously increases the deficit.
Labour will do the same cuts over the first two years/let the economy recover for the next three (this will be the pattern for whoever wins for a long time now, the British establishment wants to slash the welfare state and that's that) but also raise taxes minimally on mainly the top 1%.
So take your pick. Basically the same whoever wins with some small gestures towards their political base voters to differentiate themselves from each other while the big decisions -- destroying the economic safety net, immigration, trade, Europe etc. -- are all taken in secret behind closed doors with zero input allowed by the people who live here and vote for these fuckers.
You can go to bed now and miss all the pointless theatre.
Agreed.
It's a fucking joke how the Tories are talking about the Scots.
Clearly the importance of the union to Cameron doesn't extend as far as wanting the Scots to have a say in the policies of the union.
You'd think if you didn't know better that the Scots were a dangerous band of insurgents looking to invade the UK system, rather than actually being part of the UK.
If any of you are following the coverage, I've just claimed "Labour's Balls Out" as my headline, and if any of the tabloids use it, I'm going to sue them for copyright infringement, as that is my intellectual property.
Jesus Christ.....the Tories are expected to win this? I'm telling you, it is almost as if Labour has been trying to lose with these plastic policies and lack of repentance. Instead of winning working people back they have gone to UKIP and the SNP and meanwhile the selfish cunt brigade is voting Tory. What a travesty. No deal with the SNP eh Ed? You complete and utter idiot. Scotland is clearly the soul of the UK and needs to be worked with to change anything, instead they are being fucking demonised. The game is looking up. Banker hanging needs to become as popular as football (which is another reason for the ignorance of the general populace).
It's the end of days.
It's not about the largest party though it's about who can command the confidence of the house.
Cameron, if the polls are right, can have first dibs on the queen's speech, but if it's voted down then he is fucked. We need the poll to be wrong by just a few seats then make sure Cameron isn't allowed a constitutional coup.
I can't understand who these people voting Tory are. Is it The Sun Newspaper and the other Tory rags, do people really believe this shit? Is it the idiots that believe a pile of aging bricks is a reliable store of money, is it that humanity is simply lost? Who the hell votes Tory? 316 potential seats? What is that? What is that? And an unelected monarch?
Then you factor in Labour likely losing votes to the Greens and TUSC as well and close seats have suddenly been torn from them, but again, how could a moral man ever endorse a party of war criminals, bankers, lobbyists and businessmen? It almost seems staged in that regard. Labour could have presented a real alternative but instead offered cosmetic differences and people say 'why vote for them?'. Then look what happens. More than ever I think this is a pantomime.
'Energy shares will rise, the pound is rising, business and media is happy' seems to be what the BBC is telling me. Meanwhile, turn it and see what it means for the people. This is really ominous.
If Danny Alexander and many of the Scottish Lib Dems go, I don't see why Ed Balls can't be chucked out. The man's a tool.
Not involved in British politics but I will back whoever Miles is against.
Fair enough, Walrus. However, I don't think this election is a time for jokes. This is potentially very serious for British people. If this goes to form, then more young people will have to flee their country or else stay in servitude in workhouses. From afar it looks almost Dickensian in its wickedness.
Yes, that's true. Also with the FPTP system, any real hope of change is unlikely. It is rigged that way and people are conned into believing their vote matters. I know that, I know swing seats are the only real element and money will typically take care of them.
Sure, but it is depressing having to sit here watching the duplicitous BBC rolling out the likes of Mandelson and listen to trolls like Nick Robinson. Yes, it is all planned and Labour did it to themselves on purpose and big business and criminal banks run things.
Yes, elections are a fraud and that is why we shouldn't respect them. Faced with two evils, faith in humanity is gone when you see so many voting for such a cruel and despicable party like the Tories. Like I say, how could you vote Labour? How could you? These Tory people must be dead inside and Labour voters must be doing it as what else can they do? Green is moral, but a wasted vote. UKIP is an alternative, but the same backers.
5 years of Tory's. Can you imagine what they are going to try and do in those first few years? Revolution is simply not going to happen with Sun readers and people so desperate they just need to pay the bills. It's horrible to think about. I grew up a scallywag, but there were no food banks. WTF is a food bank? Isn't that for disaster zones or something? 100, 000 kids homeless and no council housing remaining. WTF?
Then there are all those overseas who want to be rid of British multinationals pillaging their resources. It's not just the Brits, it's the world that is in a lot of peril. I honestly think that system is evil in so many ways and unfortunately it is looking like nothing can resist it. The people actively endorse it. I don't know what to say about that.
I'm sorry, Ryan. I'm sitting here watching it unfold and there is an ache in my heart and a little tear in my eye too. I haven't cut it or anything, but just one of those little watery things. Teer, rather than tair. Yes, this is gutting stuff, I don't think I understand people or politics at all going on all this. Scotland is awake, but the English are such a let down. FPTP needs to be abolished ASAP. Votes are being lost in this system, others have lost faith, and the rest are voting Tory! AAARGHHHH!
I know I am Mr cynical, but there is a massive part of me that wants to see the revolution, the change, the awakening, but is it even out there and does it stand a chance after 5 more years of the Tories? I don't know if there is anymore. The referendum gave the Scots hope. What hope do the English have, they have either sold out or seemingly given up. All I can say is 'fuck' which I have said a lot these last 24 hours. Fuck.
Paranoid claptrap @walrus. That's the kind of silly talk that Miles usually finds himself embroiled in. The main problem that we have is that there isn't enough of a politically interested population to provide an alternative to that elite. Far too many people who would rather have a barbecue than make that 200 yard walk to the polling station.
Must agree with Ryan though, this is not looking at all pretty for Labour, and we're edging close to a Tory majority which would be an absolute disaster for the country.
I think there is some truth to it though, Rhun. The media and politics and banking works hand in hand and we know who pulls the strings in those areas. It's no secret that Cameron and Blair were essentially cloned from similar DNA or that Clinton's and Bush's are the American dynasty. This stuff is reality and results prove it again and again now. The money men are deciding these elections and FPTP in the UK makes it easy for them.
Labour hasn't even tried to win this election! Look at their policies. This simply isn't even a Labour Party it just isn't. It was just hoped people could buy a little more time instead of the impending doom that will be the Tories, but even that hasn't worked. The Murdoch's, the HSBC's, the housing mythers, they have it in a bag. The elite and powerful are far more powerful than we want to acknowledge and of course they are against Mr Minimum Wage and his once every half a decade vote. He knows neither party will raise him or give him a home or give him a chance to have a family. He doesn't stand a chance. Why should he care? Is it the workhouse next? Where does it end?
