Hayes Ability at managing his personal finances, after he's earned them, does not reflect on his boxing, which is what this site is about. There are plenty of boxers who have squandered their hard fought gains (on Vanderbilt trucks for example). The point about Haye is that he is capable, lucky for him, of bypassing the normal dodgy promoter/tv company/arena company stitch up. Billy Walker is our best example before Haye of maximising his earning power and retiring well without ever having won a single title, man was a legend and well liked in our village when he lived here.Quote:

What good is trying to be intimidating when you are facing one of the most mentally strong fighters in the world that can turn you on your head and intimidate you in your own hometown on your own show?
Every fighter has flaws, even Mayweather but what he does well is too much for everyone else.

You can ONLY be basing this "Post Wlad" because Fury had fought no one of note at all before that and Wlad didn't throw any punches and simply didn't fight.

@ross, I finally think I have a way of making you understand how it is with Fury. It's a bit long, but try to keep up.
When you were at school, you used to play conkers right? Now if you had a conker that had won 40 matches, and I had one that had won 2 matches , if I beat you, my conker took your conker's record and became a "43er".
