Well I'm watching the dvds getting caught up before the April 2019 release of the 8th and final season.
After that I will be catching up on Black Sails, watching Deadwood, and then maybe some more frivolous stuff. I am sure to be getting my horror movies set up in my queue before Halloween comes around.

I watched the new Jurassic Park. It was entertaining as they usually are.
The missus was in tears during bits of it, pulled on the heart strings at times.

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Den of Thieves - a shameless ripoff of Heat. Shameless. If I didn't love Heat so much i'd say decent silly heist film though, to be fair. That Gerard Butler fella looked like he needed a good wash though, couldn't stop imagining he stank.

Saw that black panther movie. Really didn’t think it was that great compared to other super hero movies

Racist  That movie was stunning and brave! (I haven't seen it, but I know what to say about it)
I'm getting my horror movies lined up for October already. The list includes: 'From a Whisper to a Scream', 'Poltergeist' (the remake), 'Rear Window', 'Wait Until Dark' (CLASSIC), 'The Fog', 'The Sentinel', 'Angel Heart', 'The Old Dark House', 'The Changeling', 'The Night Demon/Curse of the Demon', 'Susperia', 'The Curse of Frankenstein', 'Count Dracula', 'Dracula Untold'
I'm going to really dive into the old Hammer Films...got to love Christopher Lee (real life bad ass) and Peter Cushing....and can I just say that the role of Gran Moff Tarkin in Rogue One should have been played by Charles Dance who plays Tywin Lanister in 'Game of Thrones' that dude is a very believable classic smarmy bad guy a la the aforementioned greats Lee and Cushing as well as the incredible late Alan Rickman.

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Watched Final Score starring Bautista, so have a soft spot for him as the character Drax, which was way over the top action film that just was too silly to make any sense.
Where a group of deadly terrorists abduct Bautista niece at a West Ham game.

Damn this movie cake with Aniston is really depressing but it’s very well acted and unique. Walrus gives it 3.5 Flipper claps

The Conjuring (2013) 8/10
I generally don't like horror movies, but this one is very well-made. It's not the most frightening supernatural horror movie (Sinister is more frightening), but The Conjuring is the most intelligently written and nicely directed horror movie I've ever seen, and the acting is excellent throughout.

The two paranormal people involved in this were a couple I lived near for a while, ed and Lorraine warren. Lorraine is still living as far as I know. They were nice enough people, I never discussed in any detail any supernatural stuff as i didn’t know very much about it. Ok just wanted to let you know, take care everyone, bye now.

The real Lorraine Warren has a cameo in the movie. Vera Farmiga does a great job of playing her. The Warrens also investigated the Amityville house on Long Island.

Yes and Lorraine dresses like that everyday, Vera got some of her mannerisms down very well.

Nice people but we disliked to see them as the hogged a table all night and left shitty tips. It wasn’t reflective of the service as we were all very good and attentive and they did it to everyone. Anyway, we had to accept it as they were regulars and what can you do. Furthermore one of my coworkers, whom was 18 got killed in a car accident, he happened to be my best friend, lead guitarist in our band and a very good player. He was a natural. Anyway a group of my friends were going to attempt to contact him on the Ouija board. I cunsulted the Warrens about this and they strongly recommended we refrain from doing so. They then told me about a few cases they worked involving a board. So my previous statement was inaccurate, I did speak with them about paranormal and religious things to a degree. They did travel all over the world on cases and lectured a lot so I guess they knew something. I’m not sure where I stand on the paranormal but it makes for interesting movies. They have a few more movies being made about cases they worked on. Ok, thanks very much, hope you are all well, take care

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I watched “the third man” a while ago. my girlfriend watches all kinds of dumb action films and I’m often semi present, but as far as a film I was actually into, that was it. I’ve read most of graham greenes books and they are all delightful, what they did turning that into a film is truly epic though.

Classic film, great soundtrack too! Orson Welles is legendary

He really is. I could of course google the guy who scores it, but I’m on an iPad and I’d rather not, terrific score though. Really funny how Canelo comes out as cantelope or Camelot like eight times, yet iPad is immediately recognized by this fucking thing.

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Started Black Panther and being honest they tried waaaaaay to hard here. It's taken me 2 days so far and I'm only half way through it. The actor is top notch, chick from The Walking dead is a solid actress and special effects are good same as most Marvel flicks. But it almost feels like they try to have it both ways with it. A mysterious highly advanced society under the guise of rolling hills and old country. And how is the temptation lost for members to leave basically a walled-veiled world and not join modern society..Earth? Also the baddie dude, I forget his name, is irritating as hell. Again it's like a battle of Country mouse vs City mouse :cwm13: and the guy seems forced in trying to appeal to some fans. Maybe I'll do the right thing and finish watching it then draw a conclusion. Hey it's Marvel and so far the actual interpretation of Black Panther the 'super hero' is pretty good.

I liked Black Panther, not my fav MCU film but it entertained.
The dude from Creed is stacked.
Watched Skyscaper, it was entertaining but highly unbelievable. At least make an attempt to convince me.

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
The Foreigner - Someone recommended this to me which I now know means they think i'm a massive thick cunt (well, probably not far off). I only made it to the end because I couldn't stand up. Now I knew it was going to be pathetic by the fact Jackie Chan was doing serious. Worst film ever. Never watch a Jackie Chan film post 1985. Fact.

The Neighbour (2016) 8/10
A pleasant surprise, this one is very good, especially the second half. It's mistakenly classified as horror but it's really not, it fits the categories of crime, action, suspense and thriller.

1 Buck (2017) 6/10
Not terrible, but a bit frustrating to watch at times because of people behaving stupidly (alcohol and drug abuse). Good plot, but I didn't like the negative stereotyping of both black and white southerners.

Agreed. I didn’t see it as a controversial movie, a couple references to #whitegenocide but nothing that struck me as over the top. I just thought it was a bit lackluster compared to the likes of Batman and Superman which are filmed in a grand fashion

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I’m not saying it was terrible, I was actually excited to see it was on Netflix and made time where I could watch it in one clip. I was just expecting a more. Since we always know the formula for the end, superhero looks like they are going to loose but have a miraculous comeback in the end, the in between has to be very good
