Watched Creed which was ok, liked the camera angles during the boxing which was new, funny scenes about the generation gap and good reminders of the classic Rocky films at certain times.
Now I can watch Creed 2 when it comes on TV in 2 years time.
Hereditary - 2018
The best horror movie I've seen in years.
No bullshit Cliche jumpy scenes here, proper disturbing scenes and storyline.
Wont spoil it but there are some seriously twisted scenes in this film and its just a brilliant movie.
Absolute must see for any Horror fan.
An instant classic đ
Welcome to Curiosity (2018 ) 8/10
This is an underrated independent film. The reason it received some bad reviews on the IMDB is because it's too complicated for some people, and keeps switching from scene to scene, especially in the first half. However, I liked the originality and the complexity, every scene and all four story lines make perfect sense if one watches until the very end. There are some interesting twists at the end, for which there are earlier clues. Some very good but lesser-known British actors in this one, including a couple of pretty women with acting talent who I would like to see in future movies.

Die Hard......Hans! ... BUBBY!!!
The Bells of St. Mary's (1945) 9/10
Back in the 1930s and 1940s, there were more films with heart-warming stories. This uplifting movie was the #1 Box Office success of 1945, and it's easy to see why it won an Oscar and was nominated for 7 more.

Danton (1983) 8.3/10
This film provides an excellent history lesson. During the Reign of Terror in early 1794, having already executed most of the aristocrats who were not able to flee France, Maximilien Robespierre and the Committee for Public Safety turned on other revolutionaries in order to consolidate power. This film has some very good actors, I was especially impressed by Boguslaw Linda's accurate portrayal of the bloodthirsty young Louis Antoine de Saint-Just, who was even more extreme than his close friend Robespierre.

It reminded me of The Shining with the music, isolated shots of the doll houses/rooms and the way it kept cranking and cranking up the dread whilst showing the mum seemingly going more and more insane. I don't get scared by any films but I was hooked going into the last half hour which was relentless.
Gods of Egypt (2016) 8.5/10
I had previously decided not to watch this one because I believed there must be some good reason for the negative reviews. However, it turned out to be highly entertaining, the story was enjoyable and the cast performed flawlessly. There were no vulgar or depraved scenes in it so it's okay for all ages.
It should have won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects. Sadly, the racists who run Hollywood instead heaped praise and awards that year on vile anti-White garbage like The Revenant.

A Midnight Clear (1992) 7/10
This is an anti-war movie set in December 1944 in the Ardennes Forest.

I started to watch 'Punisher: War Zone' the other day......oof, that didn't stay on too long
Watched 'White Christmas' which is a classic, up there with 'It's a Wonderful Life' in terms of what a great Christmas movie it is.
Trading Places. A Christmas classic. Seeing Jamie Lee Curtis reveal the finest pair of tits ever assembled is an absolute joy each and every time.
Try 'After The Thin Man' another festive movie...quite enjoyable a tour de force by Jimmy Stewart
Jamie Lee Curtis did indeed have great tits....wouldn't know if I'd call them the "finest ever assembled" Phoebe Cates in 'Fast Times At Ridgemont High' rate up there, Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Jaime Pressly....but Jamie Lee's were quite nice...ooh um Jennifer Connelly as well, proper nice.
Jimmy Stewart was great. Watched itâs a wonderful life myself last night.
As far as my all time favorite Christmas movie, though itâs not a specific Christmas film is âA tree grows in Brooklyn.â IMHO it is one of the finest films ever made

.
Loved Stewart in his westerns, especially Broken Arrow.
Finally got around to watching The Wire. Probably the first show I've binge watched to the point of turning around and it was suddenly 2 am on a work night. Some very addictive characters. Started final season last night.
Rise of the Foot Solider III - this popped up on my TV after a youtube video had finished, I failed to turn it off so left it on in the background whilst doing other stuff, amazingly I ended up watching the whole thing. The reason it caught me was not the over the top comical snorting, rip-off of other gangster films and brutal violence but the exact same actors were playing the roles they did in the original, 12 years ago, but hardly looked any different. Mental.
Guardians of the Galaxy I and II - I never realised this was part of the Marvel/Avengers world until the latest Avengers film, always assumed it was a little kids film because of the puppets and whatnot, so got a surprise they were brutal piss takers of the highest order. Hilarious. Every character being a thief or dodgepot is brilliant. Even the little tree thing is great.
Everything cancelled by Netflix 2018

Wow some real shockers and head scratchers on this list: 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt', 'Daredevil', 'Orange is the new Black'...I mean a lot of the list I understand as not everything is going to be a hit, but I thought Kimmy Schmidt was a decent show for what it was and relatively funny given that I think Tina Fey can certainly try way too hard at times, she's funny for a woman which isn't to say women can't be funny I just find their humor different to the humor of men, it's more cute and less distraught or filled with rage. I thought the first season of Daredevil was pretty damned good, and I thought everyone liked OITNB ...I mean I despised it, but I'm not unable to see what other people would enjoy from it.
I started watching 'Norsemen' the humor is odd, but I think if anyone liked Lilyhammer or some of Monty Python's stuff then they'd enjoy 'Norsemen'
Watched Creed 2 and it was good, nice depth to his character with his relationship with his wife. I even felt for Drago near the end. It had a good training montage and could have done with one more in the film.
Finally understood what you said @Alpha about Andre Ward. :) Got his Mustang back.
Reign of Fire 7.5/10
Decent post-apocalyptic thriller.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2/10
This is a very poorly directed horror movie with terrible acting. It was irritating that every character, victims and villains, were very stupid. The ugly fat guy in the wheelchair was especially annoying and not the least bit funny. That critics praise this movie shows what kind of depraved and vacuous people they are. Except for the two girls being pretty, there was nothing good about this garbage film.

Birdbox - The Sandra Bullock Netflix flick about your worst fears appearing as demon shadow type things. As soon as you look at them you go off and top yourself. It was OK. Unfortunately the first thought that goes through your mind is 'well the blind will be fine'.
Black Mirror - Bandersnatch. Interactive film of a computer programmer adapting a fantasy novel into a game. It needs another go to be fair, it got to a point where I was just waiting to make the choice to kill some poor cunt. I also felt there were too many choices. Will try it again at some point.
I saved Birdbox, like the sound of that.
Galveston - after watching a load of comic book films this was a welcome change. Dodgepot crim is dying of lung cancer at just 40, saves teenage brass and her toddler sister from their boss and goes on the run to end up in a motel in the arsehole of nowhere surrounded by complete lowlifes and deadbeat old girls whilst obviously being hunted. I thought it was an excellent American noir, with likeable main characters. The final half-hour is horrible and good and tragic depending.
Everyone's "Bird Boxing" lately!
The missus has requested we watch it on Saturday.
Heard good and not so good reviews on it so far (mostly good) so hope it's a good movie.
After watching Hereditary a month ago its gonna take a seriously fucked up and twisted Horror/Thriller to keep my interest.
Brilliant film for those that still haven't seen it.
This is in no way a spoiler, but when you lot get round to watching birdbox, can you come back and confirm or deny if Sandra Bullock is turning into a Michael Jackson Planet of the Apes hybrid.
I spent the first half-hour of Birdbox with Michael Jackson songs popping into my head. :D
Being a pessimistic, miserable cunt I couldn't see what all the fuss was about trying to stay alive, the bods topping themselves all looked at peace once they saw the demons, why not join them? And if I was trying to survive with a bunch of strangers, the first rule would have been anyone who opens the door to strangers without consulting me is getting toe punted straight through it, no questions asked.
Watched Spiderverse which was a very good animated movie. It was better than I thought it would be.
Aqua-man
Stardust (2007) 8/10
This one was fun to watch, with some good humour and nice visual effects. The beautiful Clare Danes performed perfectly as the falling star.

what I saw I liked but I fell asleep halfway through. I canât remember if I was real tired that day or got bored with the movie. Iâll tell u what though, good production from Netflix. Shows you what they are and will be capable of and will be capable of as long as they donât get all political since they hired the Obamas and pieces of his administration. If everyone hear bought a handful of Netflix stock when they were slinging DVDâs online and held them. We would be sitting pretty. I really wish I could see into the future a little better, it would really make life easier
