Nah I think my brain is neutral, theres something to it, but I have no clue :p
Master's answer doesn't quite sum it up I think. It should be the human life cycle. If you assume morning is - being born, afternoon - adulthood and evening - elderly.
Four legs - baby
Two legs - normal adult
Three legs - Old guy with a stick.
But personally I think it's a rubbish riddle.
