I would of warmed to him more after the Baldo fight if he simply said before it that he was going to give us a boxing clinic and Baldo won't lay a glove on him, instead of barking about standing toe to toe and banging ::**

I agree ace, Floyd dominates & Oscar was past it... living on former glory's. But in a way if Floyd walks away as he says he will after the fight then in my opinion it won't be good enough. He's still in his prime he needs to fight guys like Mosley, Cotto & possibly Hatton & Margarito before he leaves or there will always be questions ask!

Mayweather made an outburst about fighting Hatton in Wembley, saying he's gonna punch him in his beer gut, and I dont see how he can trun down the money for a probable 90,000/95,000 seat sell out in Wembley Stadium for what he calls "Easy work". The man who say's if it makes dollars it makes sense would have lost his mind if he wasn't gonna do that. That fight would possibly outgross PBF v ODLH, I think either man v Hatton would be as big a money maker, due to the level of intrest on both sides of the pond, and the sheer mass of ticket sales. At an average of just £100/$195 a ticket the (cheap as chips for a big show) it would do about £10m/$19m dollars, and PPV would about $50-$60m worldwide, thats too much cash to miss out on. I'd never rule that fight out in the next 2 years.

For me the most intriguing part of this fight will be how Floyd handles 154 pounds. I feel like his power and frame was already being stretched at 147. Oscar has a great chin and is an accurate/strong puncher. Can Floyd keep him off for the entire fight with just his defense and speed...because i certainly don't think he will keep Oscar off with his power. If Oscar comes into this match, and it seems like he will, in great shape...i just feel at some point Floyd will get caught. How he will handle Oscar's power is a big question. Remember...Oscar isn't just some wild punching stiff...the man, even at this stage of his career, is a tremendously skilled fighter. Add to that...Oscar has been involved in these mega fights before...and i think he certainly has more than just a punchers chance. When this fight was first announced...i was thinking Floyd would dance to UD. But i just have this feeling Oscar may surprise many of us.

I pick Floyd to win this one by UD

I can't stop thinking about what Angelo Dundee said on FNFs. He said DLH would take Floyd because he was, "really good at handling smaller men". :o :bananastyle: :o

I picked DLH by knockout, but very close between that and PBF by UD.

I just watched the documentary on Sky Sports (UK) going into both camps of Mayweather and De La Hoya, and it has just increased my resolve that I hope Floyd gets a number done on him.

Oscar's attitude is one of respect, and he goes about things in the right way. He's worked himself up, he's a smart man, and while there are some problems for boxing fans with Golden Boy, on the whole he is making a damn good man of himself.

floyd on the other-hand is bad-mouthing Oscar to anyone who will listen, and is trying to run down DLH in his own mind and his ego would fill your average Manchester block of flats. I hope he gets KO'd cause he needs to be brought down a notch or two. And surrounding himself with people who fuel the disrespect like Roger is not doing him any good as a man, however good a trainer he may be.

Oscar has more of a chance than u think! He has an iron chin, a mean & powerful left hook that in my opinion if it connects with Floyd's chin then it will be curtains! Expect Oscar to be the aggressor thru the first 7 rounds & I'm pretty sure that he will be looking for Floyd to try & trade with him! Also he is sparring with Mosley which INO will help out alot cuz he is learning to fight tall & nuetralize speed with a stiff jab: But can he apply it against Floyd? One thing I am sure of is that there is no way that Floyd can hurt Oscar, so that's outta the question! Floyd will try to use his speed & craftiness to win by a decision, but Floyd has never accomplished that with a top rank fighter cuz he has never fought a top opponent! So it will be a what if? for Floyd & a When if? for Oscar! I may be wrong but I'm picking Oscar by KO/TKO!!!!
