Re: This is the future of the US........
Al Gore would have been a shit President....of course he'd be great IF I LIVED IN ENGLAND.
Gore talks down to people and he's a hypocrit....who uses more power the average American or Al Gore???? AL GORE! Not only do I dislike his theories on the environment...his smug attitude is no different than W's cavilier both guns blazing attitude. He had HUGE downsides and still does to this day and much like Bill and Hillary Clinton he's good at re-writing history....
[yt=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bogBwAby3so[/yt]
and he's just as stupid as W too, he just never wants anyone to know it
[yt=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DIK2qppQoI[/yt]
As for John Kerry, he was also a tin man much like Al Gore. And he tried to make everyone think he was smarter than W......but he had trouble expressing this. Just take a look for yourself.
[yt=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CKOHiT8vr0[/yt]
[yt=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXwCrpMHkYc[/yt]
And this dandy "I voted for it before I voted against it".....he truly is a brilliant man and obviously can make up his mind about serious issues with confidence.
[yt=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esUTn6L0UDU[/yt]
These two idiots made W out to be what he is a limited thinker, a bull in a china shop when it comes to diplomacy, and yet in the end they got out debated and looked dumber than him....it's just AMAZING such an idiot can make those two geniuses look as bad as they did.
And for one whether someone is smarter than me is no biggy but when they speak AT me and not TO me and treat me and the American voters like we are some low life rubes who need not try to understand anything other than "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"....when the liberals or A democratic candidate stops trying to invade my privacy and stop trying to make me DEPENDENT on the federal government I will consider voting for one for President but until that day it's not going to happen, I will vote Republican, Libertarian, or Third Party.
I agree with the views of certain individuals (mainly Huckabee and McCain right now) and right now none of them are running for the Presidency for the Democrats and if you hate me for agreeing and benefiting from their views then get your person voted in.
Re: This is the future of the US........
....as for your statements about religion KL spirituality is not a bad thing especially if you see the "word of God" as metaphor for life and how you can live your life in a positive way and guidance for how you can handle certain situations.....as metaphor all spirituality and all religions give answers and they are usually good ones.
I haven't read the Q'uran or anything, I may eventually get to it but watching this DVD "The Power of Myth" with Joseph Campbell was very interesting and entertaining and not "religious" by spiritual and it really explains how all religions share similar stories (ie creation, great flood, etc). I hope you check that out
ANDRE you really need to check out "Power of Myth" I can tell by your intrest in things like Tao te Ching you'd dig it...check it out
Creation mythologies ....shows similarities in different cultures

Re: This is the future of the US........
You voted for George Bush and you're calling Gore a hypocrite? Seriously?
People like Gore and Kerry are very similar indeed to fourth generation Connecticut banking family Harvard-legacy draft-evading faux-Texan George W Bush. The pretend cowboy Bush however leads a party that's determined to f*ck you up the arse as much as possible. When people like Gore or Kerry try and do something positive for low/middle income Americans they're derided as hypocrites, rich guys who don't really care about you. But what does that make people like Bush? Dude, all politicians at that level are multi millionaires. The only question is how badly do they screw you personally over. And the GOP claiming to be "real Americans" is the biggest bit of hypocrisy imaginable.
Just take energy as an example. Al Gore probably uses less or about as much electricity as the Bush family 500 acre compound in Connecticut, which is fully staffed by a bunch of servants year-round. But he actually wants to get America to invest billions in clean energy technologies which would mean no more involvement needed in the Middle East, huge economic benefits, no huge CO2 production warming up the world etc.
Bush on the other hand wants to spend trillions cranking up the war industry to go and steal other countries' fossil fuels, something that creates war and endless terrorism against the US, does nothing to stop global warming, puts America trillions of dollars in debt etc.
Yet Gore is derided as an energy hog when his personal consumption is all offset by carbon credits anyway and Bush is a "real American" for using the US army as cannon fodder to secure oilfields for his buddies.
There really must be some kind of Moonie mind control going on over there for people to believe the stuff you do.

You're right, religion kept as a personal thing can be a great thing, the problem comes when a group of people or even worse a national leader arrogates god for themselves and claims that they're carrying out god's will.
Re: This is the future of the US........
...it depends on what will is God's....if it's feeding all the starving children in Africaand creating World Peace or eradicating an entire race of people.
It can still be good depending on how it is used

You can tell anyones side through their lifes work not but what they speak.
Bush is a false Christian obviously via their own first commandment of 'thou shall not kill'.
Self defence is one thing vengence is another.
...but the "true muslims" break no laws of Allah???
George W. is a simple example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". I make no statements about who is a good christian or good at following this religion or that....that is not for me to judge but for people to be real with themselves....some maybe are misguided but it is not up to me or anyone but the individual to sort out their faith.
And yes I did vote for him twice but what choice was I given...Al Gore and John Kerry....it's like the South Park when the boys have to choose between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich as school mascot
Couldnt agree more ,yet I didnt say the muslim fundamantalist side never break Allhas law .This is much bigger than just sides at war there is an underlying problem that is personal choice to do with blame placing so others feel comfortable.
We cannot get out of this dualistic 3d trap of ours until we personaly cease judgments of any kind.
These mad religions on both sides of the world still perpertrate judgment in and onto other group masses so they are trapped by their own false belifes;until they stop it personally they are not moving on anywhere and like attracts like so they will group up again and again until that lesson is learnt.

Bush might not make the best choices but I still think he's doing a better job than those two jokes could have done.Hell I'm just glad Al Gore or John Kerry wasn't in the White House when 911 took place.

Do I detect antisemitism?

Muslims kicked Spain's ass with train bombings and kicked France's with a riot but they a kicked no ass over here and they know it.

Because they would have flown to Nebraska and hidden in the side of a mountain for 48 hours.
Oh wait, that was George Bush.

Who knows what happens to information on it's way through your cerebral cortex?
You may equally well detect anti- any ethnic group as they all have plenty of people who think that they're god's chosen ones. Although Israel do have a country where the balance of power is held by nutters who think that they're god's chosen ones. But then so do plenty of countries.

If you define "kicking ass" as a terrorist act that kills civilians/rioting then 9/11 unquestionably counts as a severe ass kicking.
