Did Sheridan just give Spinks credit for not going down when Philips lunged into him? Does he hold Spinks jock for a living or is it just for this fight.

Spinks is winning hands down BoomBoom, the last two were closer as was the first but going into the 9th, I've given Cory every round. Some good spots for Verno the last two rounds though.

yes. Just outboxing him in most rounds. The three inch height advantage combined with Spinks jab is making it hard for Philips to do anything effective.

I got it 6-3 for Spinks...

I don't know, maybe he can because the pressure Spinks is bringing isn't consistent but as good as Spinks has looked in the early going before, he's looked equally as bad in the later rounds. So who knows. Although he doesn't look tired.

Phillips has to be much more consistent and punch wide (and alot).He can not match Spinks Straight on as far as speed.I Really want phillips to carry it off but Spinks lives for this.Spinks has a decent chin But Phillips has to make him prove it....over and over.Come on Verno.....If It's there bring it plleeaassee

I agree. Most exciting Cory Spinks fight that I have seen. Not used to seeing him trade with opponents. But Verno Philips is no power puncher, but credit to Spinks nonetheless.
