Alvarez broke him down pretty good, looks like he really took his spirit, Smith was looking at the clock and clinching for the last half of the final round :S.. Alvarez will be a bit unhappy that he didn't KO him but that's a really good win and performance by the hobbit.

This is Canelo’s best win. He looked good but Smith also looked extremely limited. Unfortunately, he moved up from 160 when there were good fights there. I do admit though, if he cleans out 168 or any division, he will most likely be the top p4p fighter for me. He just jumps around too much

just keep lining them up. billy joe, caleb, david. then he can move up again. hopefully some of these fighters will fight each other. canelo can't do all the work
Alvarez looks better and better. He dealt with a massive height and reach disadvantage like it was nothing and his defence is a massive plus point for him these days. Very impressive. I wonder if he'll actually fight Beterbiev anytime soon.
