Just read your analysis on the other page Wack and you know what,you could be right,this could be another 1 of those conspiracy theory type fights and we could actually be seeing Forrest and Mosley again. I#m going to remember this thread! and if it's true,I'm going to dislike Oscar even more. Great fighter but he comes across as smarmy and sly!

Nope...not really. In all honesty...I think that it was the fact that his left hand went out & that Ike just has a head made out of granite.

Forrest definently lost that fight...& I was rootin for him...but they robbed Ike.

A rematch would be well deserved. Honestly, I think that Forrest got scared after he bombed Ike in the 3rd with that uppercut & Quartey survived it. I really think that Vernon was either scared that he'd injure himself again or that Ike was gonna get him.

I don't dislike Oscar...& won't if Mosley Forrest III comes off...which in the end...it probably won't...I was being a bit...silly there...but if it did happen...it would seem like a serious wrong to Ike wouldn't it?

I can't dislike Oscar for one bad thing that he does in boxing...if this is the case...because he's done waaaaaaaaaaay too much good for boxing.

I feel terrible for Ike, I hope he still fights a couple more before hanging them up...He is better than Forrest and I hope most match makers will see past that BS desicion and can still get a big name fight for IKE.....He deserved the win and Forrest will get his ass handed to him if he gets in with Mosely a 3rd time wont even be that competitive Forrest is broken and shot he was a 2 hit wonder I wont even say 3 cause Ike won...

He made Mayweather wait for the fight and I feel he is playing Pretty Boy around.He signed Winky to fight Tony so Tony would stop calling out Floyd.When asked about Hatton fighting Floyd he said Hatton should not fight him as he would get beaten easily.Things like this and all the crap about going to an island to figure out if he wants Mayweather.the numerous conferences,all where deliberate to hype up the fight in my opinion. As a boxer,great,as a promoter,don't like him.

Interesting. I on the other hand think Oscar is a hell of a promoter & has done a shatload for fighters & has already thrown out some great cards & givin a lot of fighters a lot of exposure...Valero being one.

There's a reason that Oscar let him go & there's a reason that no one wants to sign him...watch him fight...it should be as plain as the nose on your face...it's only a matter of time & he's gonna get outboxed Tito vs Winky style.

Well De La Hoya is ok isn't he?

I heard the Goldenboy was just about perfect in every way, ::**

Three things, first I liked Mabuza before this and I still like him a lot. He's got real heart, and it wasn't like he lost every round in the two fights, he had some success in the last 2 rounds of the first fight and he won some middle rounds in this one. But Marquez has just got scary power for a guy his size. He knocks Gonzalez, bit of a shaky chin, the fuck out IMO.

Second I enjoyed the Ouma fight and he looked good in some ways. But it annoys me that at times he gets lazy on defense. He can be pretty slick at times, but last night it seemed like he felt Powell's power, realized it wasn't gonna bother him and just went full offense. Its not a good idea in the long run even though he is an offensive fighter. But offensively he was very good, and he pretty much dominated and took Powell's will away over the course of the fight. Interested to see if he can make 147 and not be at a size disadvantage like he is against most 154 pounders.

Third, Ike got jobbed. I'll admit I don't like Forrest and I was rooting for Ike, but still Ike had the much more effective punches IMO.
