ICB, did you see the punchers Haye took that dropped him?
Hayes been dropped by some hard punches, to me a suspect chin is a fighter whos very early in his career and has been dropped several times. The punches that have dropped Haye in his career have come from some hard hitting punchers.
These shots that dropped Haye were vicious JMM was landing at will once Haye went to the ropes. Haye was smart enough to take a knee and try to recover would he have not went down to a knee JMM would have really hurt him bad. Hayes shown that hes smart, hes got the heart and his got the power to spark some lights out. Whoever says hes got a suspect chin needs to re-think that one. Now his stamina is a whole another story.
Well actually he has proved me wrong tonight Mick and im glad thinking about it again i think its more of stamina issue.
Thinking back about it i think i was wrong with that statement because the main reason he was dropped in Thompson fight was because he used up too much energy and he went down basically because he had nothing left.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Enzo shouldnt go near Haye at heavyweight that fight would be suicidle.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Haye confirmed this is his last fight at Cruiser and will move to Heavyweight and said he was weight drained but will fight Enzo at heavyweight even at Cardiff but Enzo in the studio said it's unlikely to happen.

I said Haye would be World Champion very soon back in 2006 and people thought i was silly :)
For the record ICB knew about Haye since the "Hayemaker" was a "Straight Right" ;D
ICB, back in 2006 is like 11 months ago I think by then Smashup, Fenster and a shit load of others (not including me) thought Haye woule be a World Champ. Smashup got me into Haye the reports/articles he wrote up on him were top notch. I think it was right after the Glen Kelly fight that I started taking Haye just a little more serious. But now I'm def. a fan and will root for him matter a fact I think he would give Wladdy a damn! good fight and this is coming from a die hard Wladdy fan. I think I would still root for Wladdy tho. :)

Seems like his loss to Thompson was best thing that happened to him first fight i see of his was Thompson fight and i thought he had alot of skill and great power but he would never make elite level then after watching few more of his fights after the Thompson fight he started to really impress me with his wins over Garry Delaney, Glen Kelly, Alexander Gurov, then he made me believer and i thought he would for certain win World title and he did good on him i have watched near enough all of his pro fights and few of his amateur fights great fighter and also P4P one of the hardest hitting fighters around plus P4P one of the most exciting.

Yup, well said guys. I've never totally bought into the suspect chin thing...it was just that the Thompson fight came as Haye was still getting used to six rounders, and quite simply he punched himself out then, more out of inexperience than anything else. He showed here the experience to take the knee, pop out the jab to keep Mormeck off and regain his legs and did fantastically well. It's such a disappointment to see Haye moving up straight after claiming the unified titles, but I guess the weight is such a drain for him as he admitted in the post fight interview, his legs went completely in the fourth and he thinks that won't happen at heavy.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Damn, i was hoping Mormeck would win. Oh well, cc for the rbr.

Nice pic mate, and I bet you're chuffed to see Haye do the business. But what was that prediction of yours...Haye in the first two. World title fights ain't that easy unless you've got Peter Manfredo in the opposite corner.
