Right,I dont think we can over look that.He really brought some physicality into it with rushes and shoulders.He is very crude and awkward and was just as effective with his body as his fists in some spots.
Mosley had him zeroed otherwise past the midway mark.

I had the fight even at the 8th round but Mosley did win the rounds towards the end. If anyone can make a case for Mayorga in the last couple of rounds it would be the 10th but even I couldn't definitively give it to him.

I think you guys need to rewatch the fight Mosley was catching Mayorga coming in all the time. And Mayorga would try and fight back, but his wild punches and wild flurries were missing constantly.
I think Mayorga did make it competitive no question he made it a very physical fight. But his connect percentage was very low, and i think he was trying to fool the judges with his wild flurries/punches, which were actually ineffective.
And by the replies we have got here it looks like he has also fooled few of you on here aswell. I suggest you watch the fight again guys, no way possible was Mayorga ahead in that fight.

I can't really disagree with that. I'm well pissed off because I like Mayorga and it really seemed he had a chance to pull it off. Mosley looked old and not with the program for far too many rounds.
It was ugly but it was working for Mayorga and too frequently Mosley looked at a loss with how to deal with it.
I watched it with Korean commentary and so wasnt influenced by commentary bias and had no access to any punch stats. It was unboubtably neck and neck going into that last round.

Even though punchstats can sometimes be misleading. I don't think they are in this case. Mayorga threw alot of ineffective wild punches, which were missing. Where as Mosley landed sharp/clean accurate counter shots, and these punchstats basically prove my point.

No problem but don't suggest people watch it again like we don't know as much as you. It seems half the people on the board here are split as to how close the fight was, myself, Trainer Monkey, BZKFN, Miles etc all thought it was a close fight as did at least one judge it seems.
When opinion is split in such a way it's usually becuase it IS a close fight ;)

No Abraham/Marquez is being shown by Integrated Sports PPV, so it will be shown live during the afternoon for us, but I think this will have to be a fight we'll have to watch by stream.

Not what i was implying mate i just think people didn't pay close enough attention on the inside.
Mayorga was outworking Mosley but wasn't landing, and even if a few of them got through here and there. They wern't very effective punches.
Im not saying Mosley won with ease i had it 7-4 to Mosley going into the 12th, and i had Mosley losing at one point. But as soon as Mosley got his straight right hand lead working especially countering with it.
He turned the fight around and then widen the gap in the later rounds IMO.
