I think it was a good stoppage. I though he could have continued but those cuts on both eye lids would have become way worse. They already made the purse for the fight and I think he was better than Berto on the inside. The only thing that gave Berto more rounds is he was more busy but not necessary more effective. I think Zaveck should get a rematch contract or not.Quote:

Yeah its one those cases where the heart and will and even skill was there, but the body just wasn't having it, in this case the dam eyelids. Zaveck definitely was landing the more telling punches and I feel like berto was going to get dropped at some point, berto would just flurry while zaveck would cover up and block most of the punches where as berto was getting caught flush much more often. Don't think zavecks getting a rematch, just like zbik didn't against chavez jr in what was a very close fight certainly deserving of a rematch, boxing politics.
Berto is not as good as I thought. He's classifies as a "B" level fighter. The "A" list will beat him every time.
