Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
Khan "Pushed" himself away from winning this fight

Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
I think Peterson deserved to win, but this is an awful way to see a belt change hands.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
CFH really ? ref warned Khan about pushing atleast 10 times, and Khan was also holding like an octopus those point deduction's were warranted.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
Peterson wins by SD... hmmm.. I don't like Khan, but there's no way Peterson would have won that fight if it weren't for the 2 questionable point deductions.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
Just goes to show how good Bradley was i think it was a shit move to put Khan ahead of Bradley anyhow and how that judge scored the 114 111 i will never know lol that was some bs right there.
Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
all I know is that this fight made Bradley's win over Peterson look that much better, hell Ortiz handled Peterson better than Khan did, honestly Khan either needs to move up to 147, or close his mouth a bit

He was warned..............................The end.
I'm not sure if you're serious, he never received anything more than a cursory warning.
This was one of the worst ref jobs I have ever seen. I think Peterson deserves to win, but this is going to cause a stupid amount of controversy if he does get the nod.
How many times do you warn someone before taking a point? I mean I know it's not a foul that's called, but that doesn't make leading with the forearm any less illegal.

He refused to call a break, what else was Khan supposed to do?
Re: Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson - Saturday - fight/chat thread
Good for Peterson. I missed the entire show. Legit ??

The Ortiz fight was very close and could of gone either way.

Fight out of it instead of pushing out, would be a good option.

You stop the fight, explain to the fighter what he is doing wrong, and then tell him that you're going to take a point next that. That's how it works. You don't randomly yell shit at him while he's in the midst of trading punches.
