At first Haye deliberately did not mention Fury in his interview so he must really dislike Tyson.
The manufactured Haye v Briggs fight is entertaining but when Haye wins it should mean the end and retirement of Shannon Briggs. So we do not have to listen to the "let's go champ" cry ever again.

Haye should be boycotted in boxing

Congratulations to my big bro David Haye on another solid victory tonight

Haye has a tiny head and a long neck

No, Eubank has a massive head and a short neck.

Well I just watched these "fights"... Aside from the event being even more of a joke than you could guess, is Haye looking to wide/musclebound in the ring or something? As Dark Lord Al said, it's starting to look comical when he throws some shots, I dunno. He and Shannon Briggs should try and get on a WWE card or something at this rate.

Lol you know history repeats itself with the odd twist here and there. Haye looked like he'd lost every skill he had. I think Briggs steamrolls him. In past eras some prize fighters would go around and put on exhibitions all over the place to make some extra cash and at times trash the bar tough guy but they did this when they were a factor. And the Briggs thing good lord. I was having flashbacks of Stampede Wrestling.

I was incredibly stoned when I saw this. When he knocked him down with a jab I laughed so hard I thought I was going to injure myself.

The jab was fake but the right hands in the first were real.

Even the finish looked pathetic. Haye was stood so close he couldnt get any leverage on his hooks and was cuffing almost with his palms and that Aronold just falls over without really taking any clean shots. It was pathetic, especially after that jab.

Haye doesnt punch properly up close full stop. Like you said he was cuffing, his feet were off the ground, he just looks untidy and always has. The right hand has always been a good weapon and thats his only shot at winning a meaningful fight, landing a home run.
I'd give him virtually no chance against Fury, Wilder, Joshua. Dillian Whyte would beat him too.

I am sure Haye will find his rhythm and refine his technique by the time he fights better opposition. His advantages are his speed, power and elusiveness and all those are still there. These attributes will cause the top fighters problems. Haye is not far off from them, mainly because the quality is not there.

He'll be older than Briggs is by the time that comes to pass at this rate.

After he knocked him down the first time and realised just how shit his opponent was Haye carried him as long as he could. He could have blasted him out in a few seconds if he'd wanted to, it was like the Audley fight in that respect. We can't tell anything about the current level of Haye's skills from that fight.
There are many levels of opponent between that guy up through tomato cans to a level which would give Haye a decent workout but not present much of a threat. He really needs to fight one of those guys next, somebody better than Briggs or people will stop coming and any fight with Joshua is going to lose its lustre from the Haye side of it.
