Mate are United Fans really heated throughout Britain?
Or just in some areas like Man. City and around?
Well, Utd is pretty much acknowledged as the glory hunters' favourite team, leading to jokes about there being more Utd fans in Surrey than in Manchester etc etc. And once they hear your American accent, you can expect a few light-hearted jibes, and one guy who goes too far and yells at you as you walk down the street in the red shirt. ;)
Hope this helps.
Thanks for heads up.
As a security blanket I'll take my LA Galaxy 'Beckham' jersey just incase. :-X
;D
Hey Mick you got one of those ?? Has like virtually evryone by where you live got them ??
Pre-Ordered it ;)
Pretty much anywhere you go you'll catch at least 2 people wearing one.
I've got a handful of jerseys. Heres some that I can think of......
Arsenal - Henry (Maroon/Longsleeve)
Real Madrid - Beckham, Ronaldo, Figo (White/Longsleeve. Figo-Blue/Shortsleeve)
Germany - Ballack (White/Longsleeve)
Netherlands - Persie (Orange/Longsleeve)
AC Milan - Kaka (Black&Red/Longsleeve)
America FC - Blanco (Yellow/Shorsleeve)
LA Galaxy - Becks (White/Longsleeve)
Inter Milan - Adriano (Yellow/Shortsleeve)
Argentina - Batistuta, Crespo, Messi (Blue&White/Longsleeve)
Mexico - Marquez (Green/Longsleeve)
Brasil - Ronaldo (Yellow/Shortsleeve)
Portugal - C. Ronaldo (Black/Longlseeve)
United - Beckham, Giggs, Rooney (Red/Longlseeve)
SCUM SCUM SCUM !!!!!

We went to a pub in the country and on the wall was a cartoon picture of a Collingwood supporter with a dick comming out where his head should be.

Hey Andre, your country produced us a top player. Tim Cahill is a legend ;D.
Yeah can you resell him to
Chelsea please.
He's never played for Chelsea,
Andy in wheel chair..."yeah ,yeah, I know".

Re: The Premiership Football thread
What makes our loss to Totttenham is ironic is the players who were the worst:Gilberto,Walcott,Bnedtner and Diaby have all at one time or another complained that they are not getting enough oppertunities. Here was the biggest oppertunity of them all and they failed miserably. $%&^&£%£%!! >:mad >:mad >:mad >:mad

Re: The Premiership Football thread
It's great to be UNITED! fan.... 8)
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
newcastle are awful.....as are birmingham.....sunderland played well tonite though i thought! Fulham and bolton=shocking oh but good win for Boro however wigan are shite! jesus christ how many fooking shite teams are there this year....ino ino theres LOADSA good teams in the prem this year but god its awful the bottom 8 i mean!
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Tremendous return to form, wish we could play Newcastle every week! Here's hoping United and Chelsea slip up¬¬ Man,Adebayor is awesome but Flamini is THE most under rated player in the Premiership right now. The guy is like a cardio machine! Never stops running, tracks back, and overall, has had a more consistent season than Fabregas, who was awful for like5-6 matches until recently. Diaby has also singned a new contract so good news. ;D

;D Unlucky you couldn't beat the team you beat last week ;D Beautiful from Arsenal and all played well except, for like the 6th week running,Fabregas. Wild shots, mis placed passes and giving the ball away too much. Thank goodness Flamini and Hleb were playing well.Ade was awesome and in all honesty,City didn't even deserve the goal!
I just wish Rosicky and Van Persie would get back sooner! Honestly,I get scared when there is a gust of wind when they are playing,in case they get blown over and injured. Great players but serious question marks over their fitness levels.

It's a 2 point season thus far... So as long as we can cruise in there and then defend the title all will be well.

Just saw 'Nino' Torres goal.. Well done for the kid... :appl:

Re: The Premiership Football thread
I always enjoy it when Arsenal are destroyed although a bit conflicted since it was Man U who did it
Probably would have enjoyed Arsenal 4-0 over Man U just as much. Just as long as one of the two got embarrassed.
Nothing like that time that Tottenham beat Arsenal 5-1. Remember that El Gamo?

Re: The Premiership Football thread
ok ok catch up since i last checked the thread....man u are my favourites to win the title this year! The only team (sadly) i can see stopping man united in the champs league is chelsea....although my favourite team in the tournament is barcelona but they just look shaky right now. I was PISSED when west ham lost 3 games in a row 4-0....but never wanted the manager sacked becuase i feel hes done a great job in the last year or so! ....Fulham, Bolton and Derby to go down. There all SHITE! I think arsenal could slip to third....they seem to be faltering in the league....despite the great footie they can play on there day! Oh yeah and shame tottenham lost on penalties to PSV....was GUTTED ...NOT! Bayern Munich will piss that competition anyways!

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Could Ronaldo be ANY better?
Just done George Best's record with a free kick that was different gear:cool:
Best player on the planet at present.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Ronaldo's stepped up his game even more this season, is it 33 from 35 games now? That's just phenomenal from midfield.
Chelsea are a bunch of tossers, especially that Terry, the crowding of the ref is unnaccaptable, what's worse is that it actually fucking worked yesterday, cole should have been off after that leg bgearker.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Yeah if our boys foot was firmly on the floor then he'd have snapped his shin.
I FAKKIN HATE CHELSEA;D
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Peter Beardsley met his biological parents for the first time today.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Also 2 things....
1. We need Van Der Sar back A.S.A.P.
2. Ronaldo better SHOW UP this weekend vs. Liverpool those are the games where he has to show what he's made of.
Come on Tevez!!!
United 3 - 1 Liverpool
Goals by Ronaldo and 2 by Tevez.
