Ricky Gervais does a joke about pretending to take the neighbours autistic son to the Zoo but takes him instead to the casino thinking he would be able to count the cards and win!

LMAO! Ain't seen that film, but if those lines are any indication, I may have to give it a look

I actually found Man On Fire a little boring, a bit meandering although the bit when he sticks the bomb up the corrupt cop's arse is hilarious. In terms of his best films, Training Day isn't up there as the best for me. His performance in Malcolm X remains his best, whilst Glory, The Hurricane & Fallen are all better as well IMO.

when he cuts the guys fingers off is pretty awesome;D fallen forgot abt that i love that film i watched the siege last night i love that one as well especially when he is casually talking to the terrorist & boom the bus goes up, defo surprised me first time round! I personally enjoyed training day the most he is an evil bstard in that but i thought ethan hawke was even better in it! not seen malcolm x for a long time so cant really remember & not seen hurricane(heard it is very far from the truth) & not seen glory.

watched mission impossible 3 last night, i love that one cant make my mind up if its as good as the 2nd one?
i thought philip seymour hoffman as owen davian is one of the best bad guys ever thoroughly ruthless!
the movie didnt do that well if i remember because cruise was getting some bad press abt his scientology stuff & his preganant wife & all that, also think he got dropped from film studio?
shame cos this is one of cruises best films!
-
re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I liked mission Impossible 3 quite a bit.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Watched Death Race the other night. The Statham was quality as usual, however, it was really predictable, and pretty poorly written. Some of the deaths were pretty cool though and there was some decent eye candy, although not for long enough for my liking (you would of thought given how generic it was they could have at least thrown in a naked scene in a shower or something). Worth a watch, but I wouldn't buy it, it's a 1 watch kinda film

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Watched X-men Originals last night. The leaked pre release version that has incomplete CGI and stuff. Awesome. 8)
-
re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I watched Watchmen finally. I really liked it, but I would forewarn anyone that goes into it expecting an Iron Man or X-Men type movie would be sorely dissapointed. It has a slow, dark pace which I found rather appealing.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)

28 weeks later was terrible..
28 days later was a masterpiece..
I mean, think about it, 28 weeks later was the "sequel", right? The only reason it had the title it did, and proclaimed to be the "sequel" was to get some recognition, and for promotional reasons.. What exactly in that movie had to do with the first one besides using the same virus?
I mean really, think about it, if you didn't see the first one, you could fully understand the movie, as it was completely different characters, and was a totally different story line.. no references back to the first movie.
there were a couple of cool scenes in it, but a very very poor sequel and industry maneuver..
