express yourself in some form of artistic way: write, draw, paint, write songs. be as creative as you can!
try to see the beauty in all things(i know it sounds cheezy as F)

see bro i LOVE movies. i worked in the entertainment industry for a MIN! i got some pretty connected powerful friends in the bizz. so sometimes when i have free time i write movie scripts. alot of the scripts are loosely based or highly influenced by the shiiiiit i went thru in my life.
the best stuff u cant make up.
so my advice is to write: poems, songs, short stories, just get real creative man. draw, paint, even make or build shiiiiiit.
