Thank goodness Pavlik knowcked him out, he wouldn't have had a chance otherwise with the ridiculous vegas scoring. Dan Rafael had every freaking round to Jermain. Can't take it away though when it's a KO! Great to have a new champion I'm pleased for Kelly Pavlik. Manny Steward got what he deserved for all that big talk, Taylor was gracious though in defeat, a KO loss will do that to ya though.

I had Jermaine fully in control until Pavlik caught him with that one big shot. Its a shame Pavlik looked like he was out of his depth and was running out of ideas doubt he will be champ for long.

I think Jermain was fighting back tears in the lockerroom interview with Merchant. He thought he was down on the cards, turns out he was up by a few on all three.
I think he was pretty much ktfo after that first right hand of Pavlik landed but somehow stayed up.
Pavlik needed that big right hand to land or else taylor wouldve won UD. Pavlik was headhunting the whole fight, he only went to the body a few times that he had Taylor cornered and had plenty of opportunities to.
Jermain will be back. I think he might be one of those guys that getting knocked out might help him. Now he has nothing to be afraid of because the worst has already happened.

That was dumb as dumb could be ::** Yea he had a game plan of simple 1-2's and he never deviated from that. No one at 160 could touch that kid, he can box and jab as well as busting you up

Pavlik was throwing the 1-2 and the big right and it wasn't working Taylor was out jabbing him and landing the quality shots he just got caught thats all. I give credit to Kelly for his heart but JT would beat him in a rematch
