Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
They shouldn't of had Enzo in the studio. I really like the guy but he got to much waffling time abouit HIM..he didn't deserve a mention after Haye just went into the undisputed champs backyard and sparked him
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Good stuff Rhun.
Good for Haye...I know Smash probably pissed his pants on this one.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Going back to the Haye knockdown i'm just wondering how hurt he was...
the reason his legs went like that was because he stood on the advertising board.
Anybody else notice his right foot stand on it? As he stood on it a big right just brushed past him and then his legs went funny? Personally and i'm not trying to pointlessly defend him, i think the leg reaction had a lot more to do with him slipping on the board.
His eyes looked quite clear while he was taking the count and he didn't look that shaken IMO.
Anyway after the fight in the interview i got the impression that he didn't even realise he had stood on anything because he said his legs had gone and he went down.
weird one.....think he does have a weak chin but i doun't think he was as hurt as we all thought.

His legs were defintely fucked.
I would of been disappointed if he was finished though - as you said his head seemed pretty clear telling everyone he was OK
You could hear him asking the corner what shot fucked him at the end of the round.

Someone else brought this up on another thread...do you fellars really think that he can be a force @ heavyweight...especially against the big bwoys?
Answer that one...then this one:
How about against Wlad?

Yes he could be a force.
No he couldn't fight Wlad.. yet.
He's only 27. A nipper going by todays heavyweights, give him sometime he could get there.
With me I don't care anyway because the guy makes for good fights. That's all I care about. It;ll be fun watching him try. ;)

Yea watch Smash or he will get you into other things ;D But yea well over 6 months ago Smash got me into Haye as well we had a few convo's and I was hooked I been waiting for this fight, but had to miss it cause I was with the realtor putting an offer in for a house ;) But Haye handled his Biz
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Put him in with Ibragimov, Povetkin, Briggs, Chagaev, Austin, Spoon, Brock, basically name a heavyweight that ain't a Klitschko I think Haye wins. He was terrific tonight and showed a lot of heart. Britain has 3 undisputed champions, I don't know of any era that you could say that for at this time for the UK.

Haye has enough power at heavyweight to knock anybody out but definitely has chin issues, so any fights against the current top guys are going to be nailbiters.
Vlad has the same kind of chin too so that would be a hell of a fight eventually.
I can see Haye winning a version of the world title but losing a couple of fights at heavyweight at some point. A good career at heavyweight overall. He needs to keep his left hand up when he has 16-17 stone guys hitting him on the chin or it'll be more than a couple.

I kind of see both sides of the argument in this one. The shot put him down, no doubt about that, but the fact that he trod on the advertising board on the side of the ring simply made it look terribly bad, with the flailing arms. Yes, he was knocked down, yes he was shaken, but not as bad as it looked on the first viewing. His legs looked a little shaky under the big hits for the rest of that round....so I have to believe it was a legit knockdown.

He reckons his chin would be a lot better at heavyweight and his power did look awesome against Bronin......but it was just Bronin! Not exactly a prime tyson.
Stil don't think that knockdown tonight was anywhere near as bad as it looked......and i still don't think Haye even realised he stepped on that advertising hoarding. So with that being said Haye saying 'Losing two stone to fight made my legs go all over the place after taking the shot' doesn't exactly stand true.
It was a legitimate shot that put him down (just not in the way that it looked) and i think he'l always have slight chin issues....regardless of the weight.
The biggest worry at heavyweight will be his tendancy to hold his left so low.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
CC SuperHR.Good work. I don't think there's any reason for Haye to move up,I'd like to see a fight with Macrinelli.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
It was a good comeback by Haye, he has serious power.
I think the main reason he wants to stay at heavy is the stamina issue, he won't have to work as much as he did last night.
As for his chin, I think it's a defence issue rather than out right bad chin, he's also shown in his last two fights at cruiser that he has a good heart. Be a real shame if we never see him against Enzo.
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
My bad,I see he wants to go to heavy. I REALLY don't see the rush but it's up to him I guess. Good luck old son.
