OK, it is not modern day then. Theory goes the first Americans crossed the Bering Straight from Siberia, when there was a land bridge. Don't recall exactly when that was, maybe 30,00 years ago.

They came from France, 35,000 years ago. A bit longer than was thought and from a differrent direction.

OK, 35,000 years ago is close to what I said. I guess we are talking Cro Magnon man, which is essentially modern human. But I'm not sure what you mean by they came from a different direction. How would they get from France to America? Are you saying they built ships?Quote:
