The Maidana/Cayo winner shall fill the #9 position at Light-Welter
DeMarco drops 1 spot to 10th
In regard to the points raised by Althugz and p4pking, we operate a 'beat the man to take his spot policy', however, with fighters like Reyes holding a spot & fighting very irregularly, it may be one we need to re-examine in some way. Regardless of that as impressive as Valero was last weekend, you can make an argument for Katsidis having the better resume over the past year as Chavez and Escobedo are as impressive notches at the weight as Pitalua and DeMarco.

Kendall Holt - Boxer
Holt was outgunned and blasted out in 6 rounds by previously unrated Kaizer Mabuza. This is Holt's second loss in a row, so there is an option to drop him directly to the pool.

Should Juan Manuel Marquez & Juan Diaz remain rated at 135? Both have not fought at this weight in over a year & their last fights have been at higher weights.

Juan Diaz - Boxer
I say straight to the pool. He has been inactive for nearly a year. It was his second straight loss. Mabuza was unranked. He took a beating & quit on his stool. Freefall...
I don't mind keeping them both in for now, but if either fights at a different weight class for their next fight they should drop.
Yep...straight to the pool.Let him fight his way back.Side question why not the winner of Maidana/Cayo for # 9 rather than 10?
Nice work on graphic updates and status for pool members btw.Great touch
Straight to the pool. I was going to use my manager vote this month to demote Holt anyway, but since he's going, I'll deal with Mabuza. I think everyone ranked 3-7 (apart from Hatton who will be gone in 2 months given that his next fight is likely to be at Welter) should be above him.
Killer, I seem to have sorted my computer, so I'll get back to doing the votes & updates next week, unless you want to continue doing it.
I've heard they're in negotiations for a rematch in mid-late May, leading to JMM then likely fighting Hatton if he gets past Senchenko.
So keep them in.

For my manager vote, I'm going to ask to demote Mabuza from the #2 spot. I would have done this with Holt anyway, since I feel that the respective winners of the Alexander/Urango & Khan/Malignaggi fights have more rights to be ranked right behind Timothy Bradley. Hatton also as the former lineal champ is more deserving imo.
I'll probably look to demote Mabuza next month, nothing against him, but Holt shouldn't have been as high as he was imo, as he hasn't had a solid win free of controversy since he beat Ben Tackie.
I have to think on this one a bit, I mean he beat the #2 guy, and he himself has been pretty active and winning. I totally get what you are saying about Holt's inflated status, but then we have Hatton who was lineal champ as you said, but he has been inactive as well. To be honest, I'm not even sure he's going to get back in the ring. I've only heard rumors so far. I'm leaning towards leaving him where he is until the Malignaggi/Khan fight results and then pulling down from there. That way we can see if he books a good fight or packs up and goes home.
My vote for Diaz should be to the pool at 140. Pushed the wrong option. His last 2 fights have been at 140 for reginal trinkets, he hasn't fought at 135 in a year & that fight was a loss...
I'm happy with Marquez staying for now as he only moved up to get a shot at Mayweather
