Wow, Junior made it interesting at the end...

Martinez was already robbed once after Koing a guy then pulling off a shutout, so for him to get ripped off here would hardly be surprising, 11-1 for Martinez, Chavez Jr landed a good shot on a guy 11 yrs younger than him and 20+ lbs lighter than him after getting schooled for 11 rnds

I don't care for any rematch. It would be the same minus the KD like Bute with Andrade. There was no controversy here, just Sergio being a bit of a nutter.

It was a perfect display, but just a tad tarnished by the end.

If anything Chavez Jr. salvaged his reputation with that last round. He didn't come close to winning the fight, but people will remember that he almost had Martinez out of there, even though he was getting pelted for 11 rounds. I never saw Martinez land anything all that hard, and I see now it was a good thing he did a lot of sticking and moving.

The 12th round probably salvaged Juniors career, Sergio got careless, and just about got KTFO.

Jr. being a douche here...

Great sportmanship from Martinez how can you not be a fan of this guy.
