Re: "Ali hate"..... what's the point??
You know people are talking about Ali smack talk but lets be honest this game is more mental then physical at times. Ali would do shit talking to through the guy off and get in his head before they even stood in the ring which is a pretty smart move and i do not think he hated any of them.
Re: "Ali hate"..... what's the point??
Rocky Marciano would split Ali's spleen with a right from underneath. split, like blood pouring out.
Re: "Ali hate"..... what's the point??
The answer to the question - Why all the Clay hate = Its a lot of fun.
As we have reached page 13.

Muhammad Ali
Brought on the 'hate' himself.
He still wanted to follow the 'Gorgeous George Theory'.
"Just be an 'asshole' Cassius. More people will come to see you."
"People will pay bigger bucks to see somebody 'clock you in your mouth',
than to come and have 'Tea' with you."
"Just keep talking trash, and the money will flow. Fuck the ethics."

Muhammad Ali and Joan Crawford
"It's easy to be mean. I just have to be my rotten 'Fuckin' self."

Re: "Ali hate"..... what's the point??
Floyd Mayweather also uses the hate fan base who want to see him lose so he is also using Ali’s strategy.

Uh hum, correction Master.
It is the 'Gorgeous George Philosophy'

;D
I knew this thread was going to be active.... but I didn't know it was going to be THIS lively.... LOL.
It's amazing how a man who stopped fighting about 2 generations ago is still capable of generating this much hate. :o
The "facts" and dirt that get dredged up on the man are worthy of any mud-slinging campaign on Earth.

It is easy to 'dislike' Cassius Clay.
It is easy to 'despise' Muhammad Ali.

I don't like Floyd as a person , however he is a far more complete fighter than Clay ever was.

May 1967
'United States Military Serving in Vietnam'
Voted on the 'one' person you wouldn't want in a Fox Hole next to you,
or one that you could 'not' trust to watch your back.
Guess who won hands down, with 93% of the Vote.
Cassius Clay

Muhammad Ali 2012 Liberty Medal Ceremony - National Constitution Center
Ali has won soooo many awards and medals... and has received sooooo much recognition....
Here's an excerpt from the linked article:
"....the National Constitution Center’s 2012 Liberty Medal ceremony will recognize Muhammad Ali as a champion of freedom and as a living embodiment of the Constitution who exemplifies everything the award was established to honor: individuals of courage and conviction who strive to secure the blessings of liberty to people around the globe."
Here's a quote from David Eisner from the very same article:
“Muhammad Ali symbolizes all that makes America great, while pushing us as a people and as a nation to be better,’” said National Constitution Center President and CEO David Eisner. “Each big fight of his life has inspired a new chapter of civic action. We look forward to welcoming him back to the Center, particularly during this momentous 225th anniversary year.”
I could go on and on..... but how many more accolades can one pour on such a great man?
:D :D :D
(I just love to egg on the haters.....)

Clay didn't symbolize America when he refused the draft , what would have happened if all Americans had done that in every war ?
He was a pathetic coward.
