Having seen Miranda against Abraham I thought he would win, but Pvlik was very very impressive here tonight. He was as strong as an ox, and his chin was superb. It was also a fantastic example of fighting over boxing, with the skills not being at the forefront, but it was just a gutsy power-fest, and Pavlik must be delighted to have picked this one up. That straight/cross right hand of Pavlik's looked very good, and was the punch that really helped him to win that fight. I accept that I was wrong in my assessment that Pavlik had a padded record, and to beat Miranda, this guy has the right stuff to be a big name, no doubt. If he comes up against a true, evasive boxer he might have trouble, but overall, I'm very, very impressed with tonight's performance.

Well babe, it's just like I said to Starr...Pavlik was the better boxer...but Miranda's power was very VERY decieving & blinding to most fans...as I also could see things from your perspective too...but you know me...I always favor the better boxer...but this time...I just didn't expect him to be able to trade like that.

If your'e gonna eat your hat...break out some hot sauce & I'll take the bill while you chomp the rest. ;D

Correct. I have always rated Pavlik...but I'd be a liar if I said that I was prepared for that type of performance.

I've pretty much always had him in my top 10 middles...but seriously...that was a shocker. Never NEVER expected that & won't say that I did.

Great fight...I hate to say this...but he shut Miranda up & Miranda shoulda paid a lot more attention to the task at hand...he'll look a fool now.

He said that he was gonna eat Pavlik like he was BBQ...he better break out some sauce & try to suck it through a straw because all he ate tonight of Pavlik were some seriously smokin combinations.

Taylor is a right tosser for trying to get a fight with Mora. do you ever wish both boxers could lose???

Fair play to Kelly Pavlik. Its amazing what you can achieve with a game plan and the balls to stick with it. Most impressive.
